Why is Vista so bad?

January 13, 2009 11:18am CST
Ive got several Toshiba laptops and i had a lot of problems with windows vista from day one. But the other day i went out came back to find the laptop had reset itself and now the Adhoc networking doesnt work for internet sharing. Seems to be a bug in the software so its a multiple question question.. What does everyone else think of Vista and have you had problems. Do you know a solution for the Adhoc that actually works and why does Microsoft sell a product as a package with laptops that doesnt work properly.

It needs a minimum graphic card which supports pixel shader 2.0. And some RAM for a good performance. Vista uses about 512 RAM just for running the Operating System(O.S) but in the other hand, there's even the new option readyboost which uses your USB mass storage as RAM. For me it has a high graphic user interface but also helps you to run it with a good performance. Vista is a very good operating system. It may have some bugs but it will have better performance as they take out the new Service Pack for vista.

You see, Vista was created by Microsoft so that they can at least attempt to catch up to Apple. The process that Microsoft is going through now, Apple has already done so 10 years ago. Mac OS X is the best operating system on this planet, because not many people use it. The advantage to this is that there aren't that many viruses, and Mac's aren't known to crash. Apple also equipped the Mac with the best programs used for multimedia purposes. If your job is based on digital numbers, you are in for a Mac. Just pay the price, and the Mac comes with all the applications you need to thrive in your business. --Yours truly, the Mac-fanatic

Microsoft always update without known where is the problem, My Windows XP SP 2 is not stable until now. May be i use to small memory in that Windows, but Windows Vista seems still under microsoft product. They still find how to make a stable operating, many tools in Windows Vista are not compatible. Every windows must be accepted by all software, if there is no acceptable by your software then problem will be found in your Windows. I like to use my old operating Windows (Windows XP SP 1), before Microsoft can stabilize their Windows Vista.

Well...I guess that's microsoft for you. When other companies spend moeny testing their product before it comes to the market, Microsoft seems to be actually earning millions testing their prodocts. How? We customers seem to be doing their testing. And they coolly release the next version with all the bugs fixed! Smart...isn't it?

At first, you can search your solution on the internet. Hopefully you can find the solutions. Good luck. Then, if you still remember we first used Windows XP system, everyone cursed it for everything. But years later, when it got matural, we are used to using it. And now, Vista is at the beginning. Maybe we should give more patient and tolerant. Above all Vista is going to provide you even cool visual effects when using it. This might be the trend for computer imaging techniques in the future.
