The recommended, and scientifically proven best-amount to drink, per day, is AT LEAST 2 LITRES per day. I tend to drink this much anyway, but it takes a while to get into actually drinking that much. I inted to expand, and drink maybe 3, but 2 is benficial to the human body in thousands of different proven ways. One way is the reduction of Alzheimer's (memory loss) hormones in the brain. The water disperses the hormones, which gradually build up ovr the years, and tends to strike you at about 70 or 80, The water breaks the hormaones up, meaning the hormaones take much longer to reform again, and would not reform until you are about 130, some say!

I don't drink a whole lot of water, I know I need to. I take a lot of medicine throughout the day, and I told my husband I figured I was getting enough water that way, but he didn't agree with me..lol. He was told just yesterday that he needs to drink more water and quit drinking so much soda, I think we both need to start doing that.

Yeah, sodas aren't good for you they have so many calories. I myself am guilty of that i drink too much soda. i quit drinking sodas for about 7 mo 1 time. I'm an idiot for starting back up with them. after i got used to not having them i didn't even crave them anymore.

i drink a lot of soda water and soft drinks too like pepsi and coke. i enjoyed it more than water and normally i have 2 glasses of water which is not sufficient. But i also have soup for all my meals so that sort of provide the needed fluid for my body and to make sure i dun get dehydrated easily or heaty. Normally i would try to drink more when i find out my urine is yellowish and knows i have enough fluid when my urine is close to transparent. that to me is a good guide on my body need for water

I am not a soda drinker, so I drink water most of the time. Warm water to be exact since I don't like cold water. And I am a coffee fiend! I used to drink up to five cups a day, but when I got a little older and began to feel the signs of wear and tear, I cut my coffee consupmtion to a cup. LOL. I don't exactly know how much water I drink, but I make sure that I meet the daily requirement of eight glasses per day.

It's not just water. I don't hardly drink anything all day. I have to make myself, but I can make my self drink about 32 ounces of fluids a day. I know that is horrible. I just don't get thirsty it is so weird. My dad is like that to though.

Yeah, most people get thirsty quite a bit. Your body must stay hydrated on it's own. thats good tho bc if your not much into water then if u don't get thirsty you don't go for the hi calorie sodas & stuff. thanks.
