I can't install Windows Xp, or Windows Me on my laptop, that came installed with Vista. I have already deleted Vista off of it. have they started to make the laptops now where only that specific Windows Operating System can work on it? That is bs...

no it isn't corrupted or anything, it is a copy of xp, but still I have used it more than once on various computers and it worked fine, until now.

Definitely not. The System have nothing to do with the host. My suggestion for you is to format your hard disk and install the XP system. Have a try.

I forgot one thing. You need to make sure whether there are some hardware drivers for XP. Such as sound card driver and video card driver. If not, you'd better get to use Vista.

I tried this a while back, I uninstalled my Vista, however it won't even recognize there being a harddrive...when there has to be one in there if it went to the blue setup screen.
