Or is hgtv dot com the slowest page on the internet? Evertime I go there is is so slow to load. I tried to take the tour of the dream house 2009 but I ust couldn't take the slowness. I have DSL and most things load just fine just not hgtv and food network is slow too.
Maybe it is just me.

Maybe it is just busy. I know some sites I go to certain times of the day are so unsufferably slow that I can't stand it. But, when I try later they come right up. This may be the problem.

Must be you and or your computer.
I just toured the hpouse on hgtv.com and it loaded very fast for me with my DSL connection. Try clearing your history, cookies, temporary and other files possibly to help.

I did still slow. I even closed out all but one window (I tend to have 2-3 windows open) didn't help it does this on both the laptop and the desktop.

Loading just fine for me. Unless it's doing ok for you now. Just realized this discussion is a month old. lol

I've gone on food network site for a couple of recipes but have had no trouble but there is one,Plat Lounge that I quit going to because it freezes everytime and I have to end up closing out my page or restarting. I hve dsl too , I think it seems to be certain websites.

I don't use those pages. It could be there are too many people on there at once. Have you tried late at night, when there shouldn't be too many people? Or it might have a virus. If it's a popular site, the virus-morons might have attacked it. Left their calling card, so to speak.
