which do you prefer, GMail or Yahoo Mail?

hi all!
email has evolved into one of the most important parts of daily human life. because of email, sending mail has become a lot faster, a lot more reliable and helped in maintaining close communication with anybody around the world.
and because of the popularity of email technology, more and more email service providers have sprouted, each with its advantages and disadvantages.
two of the most popular email accounts include GMail and Yahoo Mail. each email provider has its advantages and disadvantages.
in my case, i prefer GMail more because, although the email account service is free, GMail provides you with lots of gigabytes of storage space. at the same time, i can set GMail up to work with my Microsoft Outlook for free.
how about you guys? which do you prefer? GMail or Yahoo Mail?

Gmail is good it has plugins that are usefull for its user. They now have this feature that you can check your e-mail even you are not connected to the internet.

Gmail by far. I love Gmail. A ton of space, CHAT, good graphics. It really matters about opinion though. Try them both, you've got nothing to lose.

I have been using mailing system for more than last 7 to 8 years and i was really admired by using gmail account as it provides user friendly, more space, faster, time consumprion of sending and uploading and downloading files and also online user status of Gmail or Orkut account and many things to say about Gmail..
And also apart from this account i have been using Rediffmail, Yahoomail and many other accounts, but i feel Gmail is the best account ever..

I prefer gmail, because on my yahoo account I never get my mail!! Like when i sign up for site and put my yahoo mail, they say they sent a confirmation email, the i go to yahoo, and there's nothing not on the inbox not on the spam box not on the trash, it never gets there!! but on gmail i always get confirmation e-mails and everything else i'm supposed to get.

Overall i prefer Gmail over all other webmail applications because performance (speed) is consistently fast, and emails can be tagged making search much more effective. They also offer more storage and other features, and it’s free. However, Yahoo and Live Hotmail offer more mainstream Outlook-like user interfaces (although Live Hotmail does not allow you to access other email accounts from their application), whereas Gmail takes some time to get used to. If you are looking for speed and tagging is important, Gmail is for you. If you are looking for the closest thing to Outlook online, go with Yahoo Mail.So i always prefer gmail.

Hello mazdakid! I still prefer to use yahoomail. I signed up to gmail but I still did not used it. I like yahoomail maybe because I have been using it since I know how to used the computer. I am contented with it too so I don't think I need to change it.

I prefer gmail, because even though free account, in addition to large capacity can be accessed via POP3 and SMTP server. Other Email service is mostly for free accounts can only be accessed via webmail.

I am with gmail.com; it has a lot of features that I love it. You can to send emails with an attachment of 10MB; you can chat in the same mailbox with your contacts. Well..I stay with gmail.

i love gmail!
But ever since
my first account was in yahoo...
both are nice
but i had a hard time
in loading my messages in yahoo
I also cant understand
the system that well
So i prefer gmail then
(though i have probs in it now)

Gmail is more safer and faster than the yahoo mail.Yahoo has many endings at the lasy of the id that is .com,.co.in,ymail.com.these are more confusing in yahoo.But in gmail there is only one that is .com.this os good and no confusing.And the mail transfer is more faster in gmail comparitively with yahoo.But for the small kid onwards they will start there career with the yahoo.that they first creat yahoo mail.I am also same.I first created the yahoo.That is when i am at 9th standard.Then after two years later i created the gmail.But at now i prefer gmail for all purposes.
Gmail is safer than yahoo.

Yes, there's not only yahoo or gmail but hotmail, live, and many more!
I'm with gmail anyway.
I love it and plan on staying. My favourite thing about it is that it's safe and secure, you can have many other features with the account and you have over 7284MB!
I love gmail and I plan to stay with it for a very long time. :)
