Me, I often use Yahoo Messenger. Actually, I keep connected because when I sign out in computer, it will automatically sign in to my cellphone. Even I'm not using a computer, I can still receive and send instant messages using my cellphone. Yahoo Messenger is my favorite instant messaging software. I also use MIRC and ICQ sometimes. How about you, what instant messaging software do you often use?

I forgot to tell about QQ messenger. http://im.qq.com/ It is the dominance in China, and because China has the most internet population in the world (298 million until Jan 2009), so no doubt that it is the most popular instant messaging software in the world.

I use Trillian, a multiserver IM client, which I generally use to connect to MSN and AIM. Occasionally I use IRC via mIRC, but only if I'm either playing Nethack on Freenode, or searching for books on Undernet.

Same for me, Trillian rocks! All in one xD I also use skype since it has the best price in international calls.

I use MSN and find it very easy and fun to use. Before I have tried Mirc and Icq, but without any doubt MSN is much more user-friendly. You can exchange emotions, share files, have a group conversation and also play games.

I also use Yahoo Messenger the most. I really like Yahoo Messenger the best. I used ICQ several years ago, but not anymore. I also have used AOL Instant Messenger, and sometimes MSN, although not very often.

I mainly use Yahoo now, as most people I know that I can chat with are on there. ICQ isn't so bad, just not as popular.

I don't use one, as the yahoo messenger when I did use it, I kept getting nasty little messages from women trying to get me to visit their website to look at their pictures. It was very annoying, and then on top of that harassment, the service took up to much of my CPU resources causing my CPU to run slow and for me not to have enough resources to function properly. I can receive all of my emails on my cell phone, and respond directly from it. I have unlimited text message feature on my phone plan.

I use AIM/AOL, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger the most. I also have ICQ, Skype, and MySpace IM. I like IM-ing with my friends and my online buddies, because you can really talk about anything and it's as if you were right next to them. It's faster than emails, and free.

Yahoo! is my very favorite too. I'm starting to become a fan of MSN and Windows live, and I also use AOL Instant Messenger a lot as well. Not all my friends use the same messengers, and since I've traveled so many different places, it helps to have several ways to keep in contact.

I prefer Gtalk and Msn. Gtalk is more preffered as you can chat with friends when you are logged into to your mailbox as well. And MSN is for people who often change systems at work place coz rather than installing the setup everytime, you can directly log on as it is readily available on windows systems.

I use Yahoo Messenger also. It is connect to my Yahoo e-mail account. What I find useful is that I can keep my name as not available, but can chose to appear on-line to my friends when I am not busy. :-) Derek
