Years ago I worked with a woman who wore really strong smelling perfume. It was so bad that you could just smell her walking down the long hallways before she even got near you. Everyone used to complain about her scent. One day one of the supervisors had to tell her to tone down on the perfume because people were getting headaches from it. It was pretty bad. Have you ever told a co-worker that they wear too much perfume?

I have never told a co-worker that before but I have felt like doing so. This one lady poured it on as you could smell her before she ever got to you. I have always heard that women who do that, are farters LOL.

I haven't done that but I have told them that they need an Altoid because their breath wasn't good. Not in a mean way though, just looking out for my co worker.

I have never told anyone that, but man do I know what you are talking about!! I can not stand it when someone smells like they poored a whole bottle on themselves before they left the house. I wonder does the smell even come off from the day before?

No...I've never told anyone they are wearing too much perfume. I was taught it was rude to make personal comments like that. I value my own freedom to smell the way I want, and I don't want to infringe on another persons right to do the same. The only time I have a problem with perfume is going thru a store. Sometimes I'll get a headache if I pass thru the perfume section. But I can live with it, no big deal

Co-worker? No. But I did have a real estate agent who wore way too much perfume! I really hated it when she would come over because her perfume lingered all day after she had gone.
I often wondered if the reason my house took so long to sell was because of her perfume? Something that cloying HAS to put off potential buyers! I mean, they're going to have a negative reaction immediately to her perfume so the house would have to be 100% ideal for them to buy it.
Luckily, I did find such a person, but no thanks to that woman's perfume!
