Hi, I went and checked out your link and you really have some great stuff. I love crocheting and crafting nut no I didn't have a store. But I registered at the link you gave. I am wishing you alot of success with your store. I am interested in the card holders for my little sister. We love playing old maid together but she can never hold all the cards. I need to talk to my mom first though.

What a fun shop! I love your scarves and especially liked the lacy one. :-) Your prices are very reasonable and you have a good price range. :-) As you heard before, pictures could use a bit of help, but you use what you have - and if all you have is your cell phone, then keep it up. :-) I would have loved to be able to see close ups of the scarves... in order to see the stitches. Sometimes this is lost with distance shots, but I know that it will come when you can afford to invest in a camera.
It's wonderful to see the orders starting to come in. :-) I'm very happy for you!
I have a shop on Etsy for bead crochet jewerly. Here is my link:

I've only had a couple sales, but I'm getting some different items in there to even out the price range. :-)
I wish you the best of luck on your new adventure. :-)
Take care,
Pinka

I especially like the garnet bracelet. I see you've been on etsy since 2007. Your pictures look good. I've sold two items, one of which I hadn't posted yet.
Thanks for checking it out.

Hello Joyce,
Your store looks great, and your creations are wonderful! I'd be interested in hearing your about your experiences with MadeItMyself.com. Is setting up a store front easy? Have you been charged for anything? Do you need to have a credit card on file?
Thanks for your help, and good luck with your store!

Thank you. Setting up the store is easy. Right now MadeitMyself is in the beta stage so is not charging anything for items listed. When it does start charging, it will be 3% commission and something like 0.20 per item per month. I'm not sure if my information is correct on the amount since I was looking at other online store sites for comparisons.
I don't know when the beta phase will be over either.

I'd be happy to ship to Canada. I also have a long purple scarf, but still have to take a picture. Also, I need to check out how much postage will be. I'll let you know. Do you want to wait and see the longer purple scarf?
Hugs,
Joyce

She is also into crochet and have been making all sort products way back then. Though now, she does not do it anymore or sometimes just for fun. Well, I wish you goodluck on your sales. Your scarfs are beautiful. Your designs are unique. I especially like the curly scarf. The colors are great. I thought your prices were low not sure if that is good or bad. I normally see scarf costing more, good luck with the new business.

Thank you. Yes, my prices are low so they're affordable. I have upped the prices just a tad for the online shop. For craft fairs, I lower them although a few of the scarves are the same price online or at a craft fair.
I'm glad you noticed that the designs are unique. They're all one-of-a-kind. If I use the same stitch on more than one, it's a different color.

Your white lace scarf is GORGEOUS!!!
My only thought is that the images need to be sharper.
there is a squidoo lens here which might have some good hints for photographing your scarves.

Hi Joyce, I love the deep magenta scarf you have on there. I am in the UK though and don't know if your international yet. You have certainly been keeping yourself busy. I crochet blankets but thats about it and each time a new baby is on the way they get one especially made for them. Wish your new online store success. Huggles. Ellie :D

Thanks for the wish, Ellie. I have sold one scarf already plus another one that I hadn't put online yet.
I've only made one baby blanket and it took forever.
Yesterday I was thinking that 10 scarves 5" x 60" would be equivalent to an afghan. Somehow, making a one-piece item that size is something I work on for a little while, then put away until I get in the "mood" again.

Well, I have visited the site. It is great. I am glad to know you have such talent. My mom used to make a lot of crochet from table covers to dresses. I hope you will be making good sales later on. I think one good way is to promote your site so that many will be able to see it. Goodluck!
