myslewis I have made myself two quilts and LOVE them both for sleeping. One has a cotton batting the other is wool. cotton is light enough for MOST summer night and I use both for colder nights. DEFINITELY better than blankets!

myslewis Glad you thought it was of value:) I knit sort of conventionally but I don't "throw" - I loop with my forefinger only - the hand and arm doesn't move, HA HA does that make sense?
