We're constantly on the look-out for new activities to do with our children from home in order to keep our finances in check and to accomodate our busy schedules. We love playing games together, but there are times when we're all too tired to focus on the object of the game. So, to make up for that, we'll read books, watch movies, or work on some art projects. We try to connect as a family every evening and, if that's not possible, we do at least four times per week.

There are no family activities i do not like. I love eating out, traveling and watching movies with family. My favorite in house activities are watching TV together and eating meals together.

Well, we like watching DVDs and eating out.. Then we always go to an out of town trip(at least once a year).. my dad's been working abroad for so many years and he always comes home every year to spend time with the family.. Last November, we've celebrated my brother's birthday at a private resort in the south.. It was fun as mom's side of the family came to join us..

We are big game players too! Alternating the games keep them fun. Dominos and various card games are usually the norm around here. When my kids were coming up, board games were always fun. Another activity they loved was putting puzzles together. If you get a 1,000 to 5,000 piece puzzle, it can easily be a family event! Don't forget about baking cookies or a cake. Great way to add some warmth to the kitchen and kids love to decorate!

We play games also. We also watch tons of movies. Usually by the end of the day, we are all so beat that we would rather just chill out and watch a movie. That is if we aren't at a sporting event. MY kids all are invoved in sports, so Mondays is Basketball, Tues is Soccer, Wed is usually wrestling, Thurs Basketball then Friday and Saturdays lots of time is a wrestling tournament. We all go and support the child involved from our family. My daughter does Soccer and Basketball. ONe of my sons plays basketball and the other wrestles. It is very rare that we have a night off, but when we do we are usually in the living room with popcorn and a movie.

Hello There!
When we were kids we always play hide and seek but when we grew up, we really don't have games or much of activities together since I am busy working and my siblings are busy studying. However, if there is one activity that bonds us is the food. Every weekends or if I am here on weekends, I would ask them to order PIZZA or any food that they want for delivery then we would eat while chatting with each other. Second is whenever there is an occasion, we never fail to have lots of pictures as a family activity... even if we just order or go to a simple but nice place, we would take pictures...
That is all we do right now. Even if we are not playing like kids before, I am happy that we still have time for each other to update and chat on what is going on with our lives.
by the way, it is good thing that you make sure to have time with your kids and family.
Thank you very much for the discussion! Happy Mylotting and Have a great day! Cheers!
