I wasn't sick when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I couldn't drink Pepsi anymore - it tasted funny, even before I knew I was pregnant. I did crave McDonald's fries, though. I had to have two supersize (back when they still had them) fries a week. Covered in salt, no less.
I did have a lot of nausea with my son, and I CRAVED chili in the worst way. I hated chili - too spicy. But for the first month I was pregnant, that was all I wanted to eat. Every day. Lunch AND dinner. Preferably from Steak 'n Shake, but I learned to make it too. Drove my husband crazy using too much chili powder!

My first son I ate just about everything. I had a major craving for ramen noodles, crab legs and jelly beans. I couldn't eat hamburger helper or spaghetti o's those make me really sick. I gain over 50 lbs with my son. My second child I had constant nausea for the first three months. I only gain 20 lbs with her. The main things I craved with her is fresh fruits like fresh pineapple, oranges, apples, grapes and kool-aid. I had to make myself eat with her. My youngest son I was so nausea with him I couldn't eat anything. I could barely drink. I didn't have any unusual cravings with him. The one thing I always wanted after first trimester was Mountain Dew. I gained less than 20 lbs with him. I had big babies and all were healthy.

I didn't crave so much as I couldn't tolerate things that I normally enjoyed... the smell of coffee turned me right off and I'm a devout coffee drinker LOL The only thing I remember seriously craving was a DQ Blizzard when I was pregnant the first time. Funny... I still crave those even today ~ and I'm SO not pregnant *grin*

My cravings were most intense with my first born. In the beginning of the pregnancy I "needed" cranberry juice & tomato juice. I couldn't get enough of either one. Then towards the middle I had cravings for sweet potatoes. One day when I didn't have any in the house I steamed carrots, mashed them up & put brown sugar on them and pretended they were sweet potatoes.
With my other children I had different cravings, varying with each of them but the first was the most intense.

I never had morning sickness so I didn't even know that I was pregnant until I missed my period for two months. During my first month of pregnancy I was really craving for strawberries and cream and since my place

grows strawberries, the fruit is very cheap here an while I was pregnant I really love to eat anything as long as its strawberry flavor just like milk shake, ice cream, yogurt and jelly. Until now I really love strawberry and strawberry products as well.

With my daughter I had terrbile morning sickness for 5 months. When I could actually eat, all I wanted was chocolate cake haha! I loved anything really sweat. The thought of spicy made me sick.
With this baby (a boy) I didn't really have morning sickness, sweats sound gross and all I want is meat and spicy food. It's amazing how different each pregnancy can be.

I'm with you. I didn't really have anything specific I craved. I just wanted food and LOTS of it. Especially carbs like pasta and potatoes. I have been eating like a cow and figured I had gained a ton of weight since my last doctor's visit. But I went in and had only gained two pounds. I was shocked!

I didnt have any cravings but I did go off a lot of foods anything greasy or spicy with my eldest daughter had me running for the toilet to be sick lol, but I found simple dry foods reguarly really helped with the sick feeling.
My youngest again went off spicy foods but wanted chips ALL the time!

At the beginning, when I had the morning sickenss, I was told to eat something and itwill pass. I was a good girl, listened to the advice, and have something toeat with me.Even if only an apple. And it helped. Most of the time I had no cravings, but ate a lot. I, too, put on some 75 pounds and lost them about 6 months after birth. With the second I put on "only " 65 pounds, and I still carry around like 12.I could not get rid off.
Both pregnancies I was eating a lot, not craving.Probably because I ate so much and almost all the time, I had no time to have cravings...
