is Ciao an international site?

I have been reading a lot about Ciao and wondered if this was open to everyone, regardless of their location or is it just for US?

http://www.ciao.com is a normal website where consumer opinions are shared.
anybody can join and it literally only takes moments to register.
there's also local ciao sites (like ciao.co.uk, ciao.it, etc.) which may be of more interest to you, but that depends on personal preferences.

i think so. there's a site called slicethepie which is open to the u.s as well
