What is best and yet the most affordable laptop?

acer is among the cheapest laptops. if you want quality laptop then consider HP, Sony Brands like Dell, Toshiba are both good (ofcourse not better than HP, Sony) and not very expensive

You might want to look at Acer laptops since they are known to be quite affordable. Dell laptops are also pretty fine but other laptops are either too expensive or too lousy. Asus is quite popular nowadays but I'm not sure whether their laptop is any good. Also, it depends on your purpose and usages. If you are a programmer, there are certain laptops which are more suitable. If you are a graphic designer, there are another set of laptops but if you are a normal user who only goes online and uses some basic word processing tool, even a netbook is sufficient.
