How long?

We all take showers or baths to keep clean, nothing new there. Now recently my husband complained that I used all the hot water. I felt bad but I love to sit and relax my muscles in a super hot bath. I usually take a quick one, but that time I had been in the tub for over an hour.
So how long do you take in the bath or shower?
Which do you prefer?
Does your partner every complain that you take too long?

I still live with my parents so I do not have a partner who complains that I take too long but my dad used to. Then we got a wood boiler so now all of our hot water is free (we own a lot of property so we have an unlimited supply of wood, or at least way more wood than we could ever use in our lifetimes). Now I can take as long as I want and no one complains! How long I take varies a lot depending on if I have a long list of things to do or extra time. Sometimes I only take 15 minutes, other times an hour or more. I usually take closer to an hour for baths and closer to 15 minutes for showers.

I had to chuckle when I read this! It is the other way around here. My hubby has always been one to soak in the tub. He has been doing this since a teen. He would often fall asleep and his mom would have to bang on the door to wake him up so he wouldn't be late for school and then work. Needless to say, his habits haven't changed any. We have been married for 27 years and he still loves to soak.
