Cold weather--Who has had enough of it?

Ask that question round about august onlyl change it to "who's tired of the heat?" and I'll let you knw how tired of the disgusting heat I am!!!! At least if it is cold you can do things to warm up, but if hot, you are limited. It is easier to keep blood warm than cold.... so ask me come August and I'll tell you I am looking forward to winter!!

*bookreadermom raises here hand* I am so fed up with the cold weather and the snow, and the sub zero temps.... I live in Michigan, and we are actually ending our freeze today, tomorrow we are going up near 40 and going to be in the 40s during the weekend for the next few days....so looking forward to it!! yay!!!

I am up here in Canada and it is terribly cold, I hate the winter, but we have until the end of March to go before spring comes, there will be a lot more cold weather yet to come before this winter is over, we don't even think about being tired of the cold until March and then we really had enough.

This winter I've just not been in the mood to deal with winter at all. However considering all the facts, I realize that we only broke our snowblower out maybe 3 times, and I've only had a lot of snow on my car maybe 3-5 times all winter. In past winters it's been an every day thing to spend 15 minutes cleaning my car before I could leave, but this one not so much. So I guess I can deal with the cold as long as the snow doesn't come back :)

I live in northwest United states and usually the cold drags on till around may or june, I HATE IT and start getting very tired of it around February. I need to go south lol. But gotta have finances to do that. I tried to move once. But it didnt work out so guess I'm stuck here for ever. I HATE COLD!!!!!

I am ready for the warm weather. Today it was around 50 and it felt really nice to be outside. Then I heard on the news that it's suppose to snow tonight aargh, I want sun already LOL

I don't really mind the cold weather as I can wrap up warm against it and my house is nice and warm and cosy. However, we have been having a lot of snow showers since last Friday and the back roads here are dangerous and impassable. It has stopped snowing at the moment but there is more snow forecast for tonight and the weekend so I am going to be housebound for another while. Thankfully, I have stocked up on groceries and I have enough to last me for some weeks. I too can't wait for Spring and I'm looking forward to planting some indoor herbs and tomatoes. I also want to get some new shrubs for my garden to enhance the ones which I planted last year. Hopefully we will get the weather we are expecting.

Me!!! I can't stand this. It started early, but it looks like we got another 2 or three months of this.

It has really taken a lot out of me. I don't even want to go outside. I do love snow, but we haven't even had a decent snow storm for all this cold weather we have had to put up with.

Well, even before i get tired of the cold weather... it is already gone... so now in my country... i can already feel the summer heat... and when March arrives... it will even be more hotter... and when that time comes... i will surely wish for a little cold weather...

I am with you on this one.. I can't stand the cold weather and I live in TN and it doesn't always get that cold in the Winter.. It gets cold enough but nothing like they have been having in the northern states, now that I could not take at all.. I am ready for the flowers to start popping up out of the ground, for more sunny days than cloudy days, and I am ever so ready for Springtime to come on in and bring the sunshine with it....

as long as the sun shines i can handle the cold but those old dreary dark days i can't stand. my favorite time is spring time. i love it when the buttercups start blooming.

Yes, I've had enough of the cold winter. It's really cold in winter in Shanghai though the temperature is 3 degrees below zero. The wind can blow to your bone. Somedays are even worse: cloudy or rain. Oh, God! Hope spring's coming soon!

And you posted this 4 months ago when it was still in the middle of winter. It is now April and it is still winter here in Calgary. We have had some nice days but we still get snow storms and cold weather, probably till the end of May. I am also really tired of the weather and wish it would warm up. I would love to be able to plant my flowers but can't do that till the middle of June, here where I live. I am going to assume that you live somewhere warm, in the states, that you would already have been tired of the cold weather in January or December when you posted this. It was only the beginnning of winter for us up here in Canada, when you posted this.

i wish it kinda got cold over here in california. i'm spoiled with warm weather and this winter hasn't even felt like winter... it's been about 70 degrees the past few weeks and we're still in january. i wonder what spring and summer will be like . i hope it starts to rain and cool down because i dont like summer weather
