Is there going to be no sin in heaven?

All right- so, this heaven is the destination for all those aho are good and those who accepted Christ as their Lord and saviour. But surely, there is going to be free will in heaven? In the absence of free will, we are robots, are we not? So I take it that there is going to be free will. But then, what if some of you in heaven will misuse that free will- will rebel against God? here on Earth , you were very good, you accepted Jesus as your saviour and all that, but that was only beccause you wanted to enter heaven. But once you enter and have settled down, you can show your true face. Now you can rebel against God. And then what? God will kick you out? And you will turn into a second Devil and come to tempt the other inmates of heaven and they will turn into sin and again, a saviour will be required/ So, the same nonsense will be repeated again. Phew, life without end.

Well if it's called heaven then I'm sure they have arrangements to keep it Heaven and throw anyone to Hell who disobey GOD..But I'm also sure that god control that free will and everything there like he does on earth

there will be no sin at all in heaven... heaven is a holy place and there is no place for sin... God knows our heart and when we are in heaven, our only job is to worship Him 24/7 non-stop with the angels... and i don't think those people who are in heaven have the desire to rebel against God... i'm not sure about whether we still have free will or not in heaven... this is interesting... i will check it out with my pastor... take care and have a nice day...

^_^ Howdy!.... Frederick42!.... Only God knows whats the truth of truth of pure goodness wisdom on us. God is so very wise and powerful He knows truly what is purely goodness of wisdom on us. If your a very wise gardener would you like to eat rotten fruits or vegetable? Do you know which is a true rotten or not rotten fruits or vegetables? But you still eat the fruit or vegetable even you don't or do know what is rotten. It is still your stomach will decide. Wisdom is the fruit of all our knowledge, actions and experience in our life. On our wisdom God will judge us of how good of us. For those who already have to truth of truth of the purity of the wisdom of God, beside being a tree of knowledge has become also a tree of wisdom of God. ^_^ Enjoy!

i guess you got to assume the basic truth- a person who is "good" will always be good!! So once he/she enters heaven, then they would not ever sin becoz they are good people. Besides, i think heaven is going to be such a boring place where there would be no opportunities to sin in the first place!!

Sin is going against the will of God. Right now, all we know about the will of God is that He wants us to return to Heaven. So once we are there, we have no idea what would constitute going against his will. What makes you think that the ability to make choices automatically means we have to go against the will of God? Do you think that when we get to heaven God will command us in all things? If he doesn't see the need to command us in all things while we're here on earth, I don't see any reason to believe he would all of the sudden start when we're with him.

Righteous people who will be in heaven would have a new heart and new minds that are pure and no sin is allowed there. There would be no rebellion because people who will be there are selected as the chosen onesw/ o any blemishes and traces of sin because they had been purified from sin. Living in the new heaven will be paradise forever and will only be enjoyed by chosen people, the righteous ones.

Yes you are correct. There is no sin in heaven. One day we will be free from this evil and we need to be ready because the rapture is knocking at the door as we speak.

Even when I was a Christian, I never understood this concept. The bible says heaven is a place of eternal happiness, no suffering, no tears. I would assume that no suffering and no tears would stem from no more sinful existance (which is alledgedly washed away by the blood of Christ). That is the ultimate purpose of Jesus' coming to earth. To wash away our sins, so all things can return to what things were like prior to sin leaking into mankind (the garden of eden, prior to sin). The hard part about this is it doesn't really seem to imply "free will" or "freedom." Freedom implies the opportunity to have choices, but living in eternal happiness denies the existance of sadness and likewise freedom. Its wierd. I don't really believe this stuff but I like to speculate.
