Do you find it more convenient to stay tuned with friends? But sometimes the facebook chat doesn't work, do you get annoyed? What's the good in the chat session makes you love it? What's the bad makes you not use it often?

I used it for the first time yesterday. I found it pretty easy to use. That's even with my disability, which makes typing in those chat programs difficult.

I have used the chat session on a few occasions. I enjoy it cause I can talk to my friends, but the one thing I don't like is that I can't talk to them unless I am on facebook so when I need to go to another page I lose the conversation.

Yes I use it but like alot of the other people here only when someone sends a message to me.. I have though sent a message to others but seems to take them a bit to know what to do.. It's not a hard program chat to use but yet at the same time not the greatest either.. It's nice though they gave that feature so you can chat with others there (friends) that don't have other services online..

i do use it sometimes, but i find that facebook chat is not that reliable and keeps on cutting out (for me anyways). i usually just write on peoples walls if i want to talk to them.

I was using the FB chat all the time as it was easier than installing yahoo or msn. however then it started playing up and not working so well. Chatting started to become very frustrating so I now have both yahoo and msn and hardly ever use the FB chat session, though I am on FB all the time, and I mean all the time, that place is nearly better than here!

When facebook chat first came on one morning when I logged on..what a surprise it was...I was so amazed and began eagerly chatting among friends while staying on the page...For a while it was great and I even found myself talking to more to those who I didnt talk to as regularly... But alas, now it seems that chat seldom works..I dont want people to feel that I am not answering them so in response to this dilemma have saddly shut it off...It was a great idea while it worked!!

I don't really use the facebook chat option. The only time I use it is to ask some friends that play pack rat with me if they can help me find something. Other than that I usually have the I care about on MSN or YAHOO.

You know I am not so active in Facebook. So I even don't know there is such a feature today. I think this is good as your friends can have a live chat with you. I love China

I use it very rarely. Most times when I get on facebook it is only for a few minutes. If someone starts talking to me, then I feel obligated to at least talk to them for a few minutes. Plus, sometimes I get messaged by someone who I really don't want to talk to. If I have a decent amount of time, I will turn it on and see who all is on, but very rarely.

I have actually never used it before. I've wanted to try it out before but I've just never done that. Truth be told, I don't even know if I will any time soon. Perhaps if the mood just really hits me or something lol.

The chat session does come in handy from time to time especially if I have some friends who are not in my MSN or Yahoo Messenger friend list. After all, it's quite impossible to have all my Facebook friends to be on my instant messengers since I have more than 300 friends in Facebook. Thus, the chat session becomes rather useful for me. The problem is that the chat is not very stable and it tends to be quite lag and slow at times. There were many times when I messaged my friends only to find them already offline, or my friends messaged me, only for me to receive those messages the next time I came online in Facebook. Maybe this is something Facebook should look into since there's no point having a chat session if it keeps delaying messages and statuses that way. There's no difference than using the standard message feature.
