Hi fellow mylotters! How old were you when you got pregnant and gave birth and how did you feel about it? I got pregnant when I was 24 years old and gave birth the same year and that was last August 24. I have a 4 month old baby girl and I can say it wasn't at all easy at first but I was able to manage it all and now I am more stronger because of my baby.

Well I was 25 when I had my first daughter and 27 when I had my second. I have to say pregnant at 27 was a lot tougher. I love my babies. Financially it is tough but it's worth it.

My baby is will be 5 months old on the 25th, I can say that its really a tough job being a mom but its a very nice feeling seeing you're baby for the first time. When I gave birth I was really bothered because my baby wasn't crying at all but the anesthesiologist assured me that she's okay she just got sedated by the medicine given to me. Thanks for responding Meresa. Have a nice day and goodluck.

What medicine did they give you that sedated your child. Was it the spinal or whatever is in that? Is that similar to the epidural medicine??

I was very young I was 16 years old when I got pregnant and I had my first daughter when I was almost 17. Then I had my second daughter at 18 years old. It seems weird that my girls are as old as they are now. They are 8 and 7 and I am not sure if I will have any more kids either. I am glad I had them young too, I know some people might feel that is wrong but to me everything happens for a reason. Good discussion happy mylotting to you as well.

Wow you were really very young then and now you're kids are starting to grow faster. You're really correct if you've gotten pregnant at a young age people think that its a big issue or something I was on your shoes too but for me people think that getting pregnant without marrying is such an immoral thing, but then this happened for a reason and I should stand by my decision to live with my baby. I know I made the right decision and I am proud to say that I have a daughter and I love her so much. Thanks for the comment. Have a nice day.

I was 25 and 27 but I sometimes wish I had done it sooner. I am now close to 30 with two small babies. I sometimes wish I had done it sooner.

I was 29 when I got pregnant and gave birth at 30. It was a different feeling. It made me complete.
I already have a three year old daughter. Today, at exactly this time, 0124h when she was born.

My mom had me when she was 32 years old and my brother was born when she was 34. Since we had a very long age gap we sometimes have differences when I was younger but as I was growing older we were able to settle our differences and now that I'm a mom she is very happy with her very first granddaughter. Thanks for responding.

I was thinking of having my last baby at 30. Is it harder having a baby at 30 than it is in your 20s.

I was 38 when I had my son. It was a wonderful experience. He's 7 months now and is into everything! I agree it wasn't easy at first to get used to motherhood but now I can't imagine my life without him! Good luck with your daughter!

Hello,
I was an old timer @ 31 when my first was born and 32 with #2.
Now that I'm 37, I have started to think about having another :)
Pregnancy was not very pleasant for me. Lots of nausea, yuck!!
Personally, I'm glad I waited until I was older. I got all of the wild-hair partying out of my system. Now, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything because I'd rather be home than "out".

Hi Mommaduck! Thanks for responding. I can say that I have enjoyed all those partying too. Its really true that I'd rather chose to go home an be with my baby rather than staying out. I love to see my baby after my work so I want to get home early.

I was eighteen when i found out i was pregnant. I was nineteen when i gave birth to me son. I think its an amazing experience that i cant wait to have again. It has diffinately changed my life. I am more mature and responsible. I understand things better. I even love my mom more knowing she went through the same thing. I had an easy pregnancy and a great delivery.

I was 16 when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, and I had just turned 17 when I gave birth. It's been a little challenging the past few years, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I feel like I've become more determined and motivated to be successful because I want to be able to provide for her and give her a good life.

Wow you're also very young and I can say its a very tough to become pregnant and bear a child but I can say that its a very rewarding job, seeing my daughter smile at me when she wakes up in the morning is enough for me to go on fighting. I love her so much and she's my driving force to live by day by day. Thanks for responding and have a nice day.

I was 26 in my first pregnancy and I gave birth at the same age. Our 1st baby is a boy and for me it was so tough because I delivered him through a cesarean section. Though was tough but my husband was there for me, he filed a leave from work for 5 months. So at least not me alone plus my mother was there with me at those hard times.

I was 18 when I first got pregnant and gave birth when i was 19, I loved it and would not have changed it for anything yeah it hurt really bad but when I seen my son it was all worth it then I got pregnant again at 19 and had my second one at 19 in the same month as my 1 one. It was hard at first but i survived and believe that it was the right choice having them so close together they do everything together, I also believe that I am a much better and stronger woman because of this. And can i say your daughter is a very beautiful baby!! Good luck to both of you

Thanks for the response Amanda! My daughter is my driving force to go on fighting. It really isn't easy at all but having her makes things a little lighter just seeing her smile in the morning is enough to brighten up my day. I really love her so much and won't ever exchange her for anything else. You're right, she's the most beautiful thing in my life . Good luck to you and you're family.
