Another Reason Some People Just Shouldn't Have Children

Hey sconi! Another sicko! At least he is in jail and won't be able to hurt his kids anymore! I don't quite understand where the mother was in all this? And why didn't the neighbors report this azzhole? I guess they didn't want to get involved! Luckily the girl was smart enough to use the computer to get help! And at least the father was stupid enough to not figure out that he just might get caught and thrown in jail! It never ceases to amaze me how these sickos get away with this stuff for as long as they do!

That is awful! He should of been paying attention to his own weight, he isn't all that healthy looking himself... he is actually scary looking... geeeezee... Anyway, I feel for the girl & I hope she is living a better life right now & that things get better & better for her... My prayers go out to the children...

I didn't read the story but I can see the man's idiotic thought process here. He is more than likely starving his daughter. If she is hoarding things like peas and corn....she is starving. It doesn't even matter. Even if the girl was overweight and had an eating disorder...even if that were true....you just do not chain anyone to a bed nor do you chain the refrig. Sadly...even taking away custody...nothing the law does will ever heal the scars that this poor girl will endure for the rest of her life. Nothing will ever erase "dad did not accept me and love me as I was". I raised 4 kids and have been thru all sorts of situations with them and just can't even fathom treating any situation so heartlessly. I have all girls and I know all too well the insecurities etc of not being pretty enough, skinny enough etc. ooohh...these kind of things just make my blood boil!

I hate this story! It reminded me of my father who is so irresponsible. And is so bad that I wish he never existed. If you can not be a good father, better not really to have children. Have mercy on us!

I hope that they put him away for a very vary long time and make sure that he is no contact with her what so ever. If my kids ask for something healthy to eat than there is no way that I could deny it to them. She had to be starving and to chain a child to a bed is just beyond words. I hope that this little girl is able to recover from all of this and go on to have a happy childhood without her father around to terrorize her.

He is an idiot and looks like one too! I sure as hell wouldn't want a father like him nor would I want a stupid mother who doesn't intervien on my behalf either! Those kids would be better off in foster care!

wow... i can't say anything really surprises me anymore.. but thats just nuts.. as if thats going to help her any.. I think you should have to have do testing like adoptive parents do to have children. . but i have no idea how that would begin to work .. they'd have to styrilze everyone at birth and pitra dish the ones taht are accepted i guess.

He looks as if he should lose some weight himself. Don't people know that it is hard for girls to lose? We just have to look at food and we gain. And chaining someone to the bed would not help. It sounds like this man is a horrible person and that he beats not just his children, but also his wife. I would not be surprised if he got her locked up and chained in the basement. Sounds like that sort of monster.

At least her hell is over now... that totally breaks my heart! I am at a total loss of words.....

Well, obviously, his tactic was cruel, but aside from that, your comment that peas and corn is not harmful and is healthy -- they are both starchy. Starch will just turn to fat. Canned corn and peas generally have a lot of salt, unless they happened to have the salt-free. And, a WHOLE can of each and uncooked? She has a problem that needs to be dealt with, but not by HIM. I hope she gets the help she needs. He needs to be attended to, also, if you know what I mean.

It's too bad that there isn't some reliable way to screen idiots like this and prevent them from EVER having children or at least removing them before they can do them any harm. Just sick, sick, sick...

Wpw that is just horrible. I mean the guy obviously isn't perfect either, I can't believe that he would even think about doing that to his daughter, or anyone for that matter. I am so sickened when I hear about things like this. Who is he to judge what is an acceptable weight, as far as I am concerned, his job as her father is to support her and love her for who she is. I just can't believe that there are really people like that. I would hate to know where he got the behavior from.

You know what I find even weirder? Is that the father was cleaning the room..No father I know cleans a child's bedroom especially her being 15 years of age. SO that there has me suspicious. I think his butt should stay in jail. No child deserves that type of punishment. He went to far and from my understanding of the female and male bodies men always lose weight faster and more then girls/women so he was wrong to judge her weight loss by his and his sons. Also has to take into account that girls who are stressed don't lose weight as fast. How can a mother not know her child was chained up? She knew she was just to afraid of her husband to say anything or afraid the authorities would also jail her for accessory to it and she would lose all her kids for good. I am horrified that stuff like this is happening and now imagining stuff that is still hidden or swept up under a rug.. I hope these children receive help. From what I read on the link you provided he go to jail hopefully and not be able to contact the kids until they are of age.

wow that is horrible and very sad. I'm not sure how parents can do that to their children. Peas and corn are good things for the child to eat. Poor thing.

That is just terrible,That Breaks my heart to hear stories about any kind of child abuse.

Maybe I could hire this man to chain ME to the fridge. Or chain my fridge to the bed ... or chain the peas to the fridge, even! Seriously, this man's a nutcase. If his daughter's cramming herself with illegal vegies, woo woo. What would he do to her if he'd caught her with a Mars Bar? The mind boggles!

If this works, Please tie me to my bed! No I'm kidding! Where is the mother? How could someone hurt their own daughter like that! Not only is he starving her, but can you imagine what her self-esteem is about herself!! It makes me just want to take that guy and tie him to his bed for a few weeks or months maybe and see how he likes it and every day I would go into the room and tell him how fat he is and how much I am doing this for his own good so that he can be skinny. and no one likes him because he is so fat! I am sure he has said things like this to his daughter so he needs them done and said to him! Makes me mad just to think about it!
