3 years ago I was pretty satisfied with my weight.I was slim and never thought of being a fat woman. However after married,my weight increased straightly like the rocket. It is difficult to buy clothes in the department store cause the sizes are not suitable.Fortunately my health is not influenced.Well I thought of many times to get rid of the fat,but I do not like exercise and refuse the drug.So anybody would give me some good idea to lose weight?

Through my entire youth, I was massively overweight. By the time I finished high school, I was over 340 pounds. I always hated diets, because then you could only eat what they told you to eat, and it wasn't your choice, and I was never good at exersize, because I grew up so big, so I was very lazy. After I had surgery, that put me in the hospital, making me gain more weight, I figured out a way to eat anything that I want, as long as I can limit my total intakes. It's more about how much you eat, then what you eat. Now, I weigh about 260, 80 pounds less then I did previously, and I've been able to keep my weight down over the past couple years.
Impexp, and whoever else might be interested, if you want my charts that I use to help me eat right, and perhaps some other ideas on what you could to help you loose weight, then just write me up and ask me about it, I'm at quistopher@hotmail.com

Hello there impexp!
I am on the plump side and I do agree with you, it's quite difficult to look for clothes that would fit me. Worse, though plus sizes are available, they are not as fashionable. Good thing, nowadays, a lot of local designers are more sensitive to the needs of people like me. I have shed off some weight already and at present would like to shed a little more.
What I do to lose weight is to walk several miles every weekend with my dogs. If I have more than enough time, I go swimming. I also watch what I eat.

i am satisfied with my weight. i am a vegetarian, eat healthy and exercise. i feel healthy too.
i think for starters, if you want to lose weight, dont eat junk food or fast food. try to eat healthy food in the food pyramid. and while u r losing weight, try to stay away from bread, until at least u have lost the weight that u want.
drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
dont eat after 7 pm.
and try to do some kind of exercise, even if it is light. whether walking, yoga, pilates, tai chi, stretching, housework, tv exercise programs, etc.
just dont sit in front of the tv too long and eat in front of the tv. tv makes u want to pig out and be a couch potato. try to move around. dont sit too long in one place. stay busy.

Hi impexp, I must say that I am satisfied with my weight, especially when I see the weight which my friends and relatives have put on over the past few years. I eat as much as any of them, but I seem to burn it off more quickly. I have a lot of nervous energy and worrying does kill fat. The other things I do right are eating lots of fruit and walking everywhere. I think sitting in a car is probably a contributory factor to weight gain, but it is a necessity for many... Have a great week. Umart

After I got older and stopped playing sports the pounds added up quickly, and the disturbing thing is that I'm eating less. No, I'm not satisfied with my weight, but I just don't want to exercise anymore and I'm not going to take diet pills or get on a weight watcher type program. I need to learn how to become content.

Although I wouldn't mind losing a couple of kilos I have been quite lucky with my weight even after having had a baby. I find that to losing a few pounds by making portions smaller is much better than dieting. I have to feel that I am eating normally or I won't stick to it. As for as exercising; I like to walk when the weather permits and that is enough for me; I used to do gruelling workouts years ago but I just don't enjoy it anymore. Forget dieting. I read somewhere that we all eat too much and that your stomach is the size of your fist and technically that is the amount of food you need to fill it. Not much is it? I think just cut back meal sizes and unnecessary snacks (ask yourself whether you are really hungry before you eat) and you will be fine as long as you are kind to yourself.

Well, some exercise will make you much healthier, but I can relate. I am not much of an exercise buff and I love to eat!
I have tried to do little things such as drink more water and walk a bit each week, not such hard exercise. Also, simple things like cutting out some of the fat from your diet and parking your car a little further away when going shopping, to work, to the mall, or movies, for example, will help a little.
I would like to lose 20-25 pounds, and then I will be at my ideal weight, in my opinion. I will definitely need to exercise a bit. However, my boyfriend loves me no matter what I look like. I would lose weight for myself, not for anyone else.

Walking an hour a day and drinking four glasses of water in the morning (an hour before breakfast) worked best for me. But losing weight took me months. Actually, I'm still on the way to my ideal weight.

Hi,impexp,i think you should aware that lose weight is not a one day or two thing. it will take a lot. Such like perseverance, persistence and optimistic attitude. Once i tried to lose weight as well. But i failed coz i was overanxious for quick results, especially i seldom do sports.Even i tried to eat apples instead of meal, three apples for one day.But three days late, i couldn't stand any more. Then i wolfed down my food. So all my efforts, have gone down the drain. From then on, i changed my attitude, never rush, keep normal diet and do not eat night snack. One more and aslo a important point, keep good mood,do not shame on your unsatisfied weight.
All in all, if you want to be thin, eat well and normally and exercise often.
Wish you best!
Jesmine
