I would wanna beef up the police academys,mabey expend the stations more and allow for more hires. Also make each and every cop to go through another training and another background check,because there is to many cops out here that are doing things for all the wrong reasons. I would want the streets of my country safer for people and kids to walk down or to play in there front yard...

Hi there. I dont know much baout brittian,infact your the first person who I have seen who lives in brittian..(im so jelouse:P)
so im not really sure how things there are. could infact be worse. i know for us females. for a traffic violation as if a speeding ticket or somthing... if we are good and just brake down in tears. most the time they will let us off hahah i know thats veary bad to do but it ESPECIALLY works on the military police we have around here were i live.;)there big softies:P.
I have to say men have it worst when it comes to cops in the u.s

Oh,and as for joinning the forces for all the wrong reasons...seems these days judges feel its the answer to troubled kids future. they give them the choice join the military or go to jail,wtf? and since we are in a war right now, they have been VEARY lenient on who they are recruiting,and its horrible to see because bad things are happening 6 men in the military,in a 30 mile radius of me killed there wives last year. marines braking into local cars and houses?.
I truely beleive its only because we need more people to help fight in our war that they are doing this and im sure that when its all over that they will go back to there highly strict recreuiting rules,untill then we must face the crazy's of this world having a chance in our branches... I know alot of men and women in the military that dont want to be there..BUT i know alot of men and women who want to be there and want to fight in iraq for the right reasons and will be in the military for life i know people who truley love to be here and fight for us.. that kinds makes up for all of the hoodlems they are recruiting, thats what makes me still have faith in them...

This is an interesting question...There are so many social problems and nothing can be solved in a moment.Everything takes great preparation and good thinking.Beside that, everything you want to do, even if it's with the best intention, there will be those who will try to put you down show you why it is not possible.
Any how, with lots of determination and power struggle , you can achieve some of the goals you have in mind.
I would like to take care of the immigration process, so poor people who want to have a better life(and they are not criminals), can have one, without waiting around for so many years.
Than, I would like to take care of the school system, the education.
The kids are learning in the same old ways, even though we have so much technology available.I would change all the education system and bring joy and fun into the learning.This way, more kids will finish high school and not drop out.
After that I would take care of the health system.That everyone can have access to a free health care and not to worry that he/she can not afford an expensive procedure that can save their life, or an expensive medication that can greatly improve their condition.
The next thing would be the seniors.To be sure that everyone has a hot meal and decent housing.
I'll continue with the minimum wage - raising the wage but not taxes, so people can enjoy a better life.Also, when rasing the minimum wage, be sure that prices for bread and milk are not raising too.Keep the inflation down.
make it in such a way that everone will have a job.That no one lives in the streets.
That would be a little bit of the things I would do.I can continue , no end, but I'm afraid I bored you too much already.
