Is putting on make up necessary?

I have sensitive skin and I'd get pimples if my make up stays for minutes. As a teacher, we are required to put on some make up so as not to look pale in front of the students. Should girls really wear make up? What can make up do to the ones wearing them?

You need to look for a hypoallergenic makeup. One of my daughters had trouble, even using hypoallergenic and started using the mineral makeup. It's pure and she found her face clearing up after using it. I have been using mineral makeup for years and love it. The finished look is totally natural and it does enhance your skin! Good luck!

I think make up can make girls like us more presentable and make up can also avoid to make us look pale. I always wear make up before because it is part of our uniform and we are required to wear or put make up but now that I have no job and I just stay at home, I don't put make up because I think simplicity is the best and I think we don't need make up when we are just at home. I also have sensitive skin and make up can make my skin look rough.

Exactly girls look attractive after wearing make up, but this doesn't suit all. But still some wear it due to the interest or due to some rules in the job. Now a days wearing make up has become compulsory for most of the jobs and if girls don't wear makeup they are not given the required recognition. I think this is not good. Recognition should not depend on make up .

well i dont think it's really necessary, it depends on the individual. no doubt wearing make up makes one prettier and enhances ones feature even more, or so i think as for me, i dont really wear make up..only when i have special events to attend. the only thing i wear is powder and some lipstick to give my face some colour, that's about it

Right! There are times we are really forced to put on make up.

You are required to wear makeup so you don't look pale infront of the students? I don't understand the point of that. I would be in real trouble because I have naturally very pale skin, so if pale is the problem, then I would be in trouble. I would suggest trying hypoallergenic makeup or maybe trying the bare minerals makeup as it supposedly will not cause an allergic reaction, but I don't personally know any people with sensitive skin that have tried it.

Yes. We are required to put on lipstick and blush on so we could have color. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Wearing make-up is a personal choice. If wearing it makes you more confident or you feel better, then go for it. If you don't want to wear it, no one should force you. It's a personal choice. Even the hypoallergenic make-up products may not be great for your skin. However, high quality make-up should minimize the acne you get.

I find it necessary to wear make up but not everyone needs it. I don't like it when people wear too much make up. If you have really sensitive skin then look for products that say 'hypoallergenic' AND 'non-comedogenic' - that is a fancy word that means it won't clog your pores. I would recommend Physician's Formula, it's nice and gentle and has great coverage.

There are available hypoallergenic make-ups which is especially made for sensitive skin like yours. You can put just a little or a light make-up, because it could add glow to your face and makes you more presentable.

Yes,but some hypoallergenic make ups seem not hypoallergenic to me. I guess I had to put some on to make me glow. Thanks!

I think you should use non oily, non comedogenic, hypo allergenic, water based products for your skin. I have the same problem like you. But since i am using what i mentioned above, before i apply makeup i make sure my skin is cleansed first. Then i put very light foundation liquid, eyeshadows, eye liner, lipstick and face powder. Sorry im not using blush on powder because i feel itchy at times. Im just using liquid cheek tint which is very very light only.

Hi, i don't really wear make up, i don;t like it. If i wear kajal always my hands go on to the eyes and i rub my eyes this spoils the kajal and you can understand how it looks. Same with other things. I have a sensitive skin too , i feel itchy after wearing all these Also i cant wear metal ear rings and necklace as they have some allergic chemicals . So i avoid all. But is it necessary for the teachers to wear make up?
