Husband overseas, quintuplets' mother is overwhelmed by demands, expenses. It begins every day at 3 a.m., as she wakes up to take over feeding duties from her mother, visiting from Sudan. One by one, she tends to her five babies in 40-minute shifts. By the time she has changed the last one's diaper, the first is crying for food again.
I have a hard enough time giving my 5 year old time, and caring for my son while waiting for my hubby to get home from work. 5 NEWBORNS at once would be the end of me!

My best friend has 6 girls ranging in age from 15-4 so there is help there. Would you be able to handle this?

My God!!! I have two and they have 3,5 years in between, and sometimes I got tired only for having to deal with theirs "Mummy, this.., mummy, that..."
Imagine 5!!!
This girl will be nuts, sooner or later, lol
May God help her and her babies...

I cannot imagine. I hope this woman is getting help from her church or whatever. I love children, but in the case of multiples like this.. I do not think I would have tried to have all of them delivered. I know some people don't agree, but I don't believe in doing that to the woman's body and health.

Goodness! No I could never do that alone. Not even with a mothers help. I would hope that a few neighbors, friends or people from her church if she goes would stop by and help her. I wouldn't be able to do all that. Lord twins are hard enough but 5 of them..that is like a nightmare of endless diaper changing, feeding, playing and putting to sleep. She definitely has her hands over full. I do hope that she will get more help.

My oldest daughter was 3 and 1/2 years old when I had identical twin girls. It was hard because my husband worked shift work and I would have an entire week of handling the girls all alone and manage to go to work. I can't imagine doing everything for 5 babies. I know this lady is over whelmed and exhausted. I hope she gets some volunteered help and donations from that news article. I read it last night and was just amazed.

OMG!! I nearly fainted when I read this one. LOL!! My little one keeps me up and about all the time. I really wouldn't be able to handle five like him at a time. I really admire this gutsy Mom...LOL!!
Cheers and happy Mylotting

I don't think there's any way I'd be able to cope with that at all to be honest with you!
It's like.. hard enough with one newborn baby, let alone five!
I always remember when my auntie had twins she had to be admitted to hospital because of the stress of it all..
I admire this woman if she is able to cope with five babys!

This woman must be a supermom to take care of five babies at the same time. I am not saying it is impossible but it is taxing on her. I am sure that a little bit of help would make this mother's life a lot better.

That would be the end of me too. I had a hard enough time trying to care for and raise one daughter. I think I would go nuts and be totally exhausted if I had more than one, let alone five of them. Oh my.

It truly amazes me to see people that do this. I know that I couldn't handle all those babies at once. It would be too overwhelming for me. I think that I was just meant for one child. I have a five year old son and that is it for me.
Children sometimes make me too nervous. I was thirty five years old when I had my son. I will be forty one in February. He should be going to school soon.
I need a break sometimes from having one child. That woman that has all those babies probably does not have a moment's peace!!
It could be a little different if there is some help involved but after a while that woman is just going to crap out from tiredness. I would be exhausted after one day of that stuff!

That would be very tough on me. I have anxiety and it was tough with my daughter alone. I can't imagine 5 babies needing my attention like that! I'm glad her mom is there to help! I'd certainly need a few extra helpers around!
