Will you eat from a used plate?

I don't think I could eat from a used plate, unless it was one that I used and I know what was on it before the food I was eating was. I think it was sweet that she wanted to make you something to eat when you had exams.

I don't think I would eat from a used plate, unless I knew what had been on it before. You don't know what sort of bacteria could be on it, or if it was used for raw meat. Though, your friend probably wouldn't be silly enough to feed you listeria or e.coli.

I admire how polite you were. If I ran out of plates and I wanted to give my friend food, I would go wash one before putting food on it. It only takes a moment to wash a plate! Anyway I agree that it is gross. I am sure it is not a big big deal but still unappetising.

A used plate should be washed before it's re-used. I don't think I could eat from it otherwise. It has a feeling of using someone else's toothbrush or something, which few people would ever do.

aww, well that was really nice of your friend to do for you. to answer your question, i don't think i could eat off a used plate. unless it was my own plate that i had just used and i know what i ate off it then i'll use it, but otherwise i think that's pretty gross

Well it sounds like she did a really nice thing for you but I would probably feel a bit funny about that too. I am assuming that she didn't wash the plate before serving your food? I think I would only be okay with eating off someone's elses used plate if I was incredibly close to them, for example if it was my partner, or my mum or dad. Otherwise I can't imagine that I'd be comfortable.

I eat of my boyfriends plate but I don't know if I would eat of someone elses plate. I guess it would depend on the other person.
