We have it in our constitution, we are pro-God, pro-People, blah, blah, and pro-Nature. What's the government doing for our native land? How responsive has the people been?
Seems to me we are only putting up a good show with pro-environment movements in order to boost our international standing. What do you think?

I love to witness the creation of God. The whole universe was created by God with so many things that can make a human being happy. God wanted us to live in a place called paradise.
Can you imagine that place?
Will you appreciate a place that you can see many things like nice park, good shape mountains, volcanoes, oceans, seas and many more. Do you wonder why God created this nice things? It is because God want us to be happy by seeing the beauty of Nature.
We love to visit places that we can see many product of nature but in ourselves we didn't taking good care of our nature. Our universe now is different. It's time for us to make a moves to save out mother nature.
Our Mother Earth now is in danger. So we need to save it for our children. Let's help one another to conserve our planet.
Begin it with yourself and many will follow. Now is the time to make decisions. Support the conservation of our mother Nature.
As a mountaineers, this is our task to conserve all possible things that is now in danger specially our planet earth. We are happy to climb the highest mountains to see different things that can not be found now in our surroundings.
Tomorrow? Next day, next month, next year? NO, let's start it today.
Save mother earth for our children!

I do believe that in terms of us being so environment friendly conscious nations is a little bit far from what other countries have adopted in their countries. We are all trying to be but I guess the effort is still to be enforce further since we tend to be use to out old habits that are not as environment friendly.

Though I agree that more should be done, I also see that the government is doing something to preserve the environment. Since I could remember, our government is already into eco-tourism that promotes natural resources. There is also the clean air act that is a step in the right direction in cleaning our air & combating greenhouse effect. In fairness, I think that the government is doing what it can for our environment. However, such effort would come to nothing if the people and the local government wont support its programs. Like the clean air act for example, I still see that in some areas its not being fully implemented. for now, i can see that more and more local governments are becoming more aware and have exerted efforts to 'do their share' in environment protection and preservation. We are far from perfect yet something is being done and we are continuously learning. It may not be the priority now but it still comforts me to know that a lot of people are working on it and it's gaining more and more support.
