I am a firm believer in UFOs because I have actually seen one myself. I have seen a few things in the night sky that I could not explain, and I have seen what I know was a UFO at least once. I am not one that needs convincing that we are not alone in our universe. I know what I have seen in the past, so I am not doubting that there are UFOs out there, but I don't think this was a UFO. It looked like a bug flying in front of the camera to me...so until someone shows me a camera shot of this from a different angle, I will have to say that it was not a UFO...

If you just heard about it, it's because nothing like that happened. First, there's no such thing as UFOs. Second, if anything unusual had flown over the inauguration ceremony, it would have been in the news. I don't know why anyone would take a Youtube video seriously, as reality. It's very easy to fake "sightings" and I'm sure someone had a good time setting up a hoax, knowing that some people would fall for it.

Yeah it was on this news this morning and I guess they had been talking about it ever since it happened but I had not heard because I have stopped watching the news but my hubby was about to leave this morning and wanted to see the weather so we seen it then.

I would venture to say that it was probably some kind of security - some kind of surveillance.

Lol, that's the first time I hear this. Where is the proof? The pictures??? Lol.
Anyhow, what would it mean... Obama is an alien? Obama is intergalactically well connected? Or do we have a new surveillance method, a new plane or something of that sort, that is just not as invisible as they thought????

If anything had been in the air anywhere near the city that day there would have been jets scrambled from Andrews Air Force Base, which were already on standby in nearby Maryland. I used to live close to the base, our college had a satellite campus on base so I've been there many times. They have state of the art radar facilities housed there so the fact that there was no response from Andrews indicates to me that it was not a UFO. There was also no mention of a UFO on the local news there...but there were reporters on some of the rooftops with the snipers and the spotters who were videotaping.

Ya, just seen it in Youtube. Does anybody from that area happened to see it? It quite interesting to know what was it. May it be a bird or an alien..Keep me posted guys..

Really Interesting. Where did you hear about this? Did anyone get video or photographs? I'm usualy pretty good at identifying stuff like that. If you could point me to video or a picture, that would be pretty cool. Ususaly there is an explanation, and it isn't too hard to build and fly a convincing "ufo" these days. One group actualy has a yearly competittion. This years winner had an amazing lookg rig that even had a laser attached to it.
