housework

With three kids all under the age of 8 I should clean everyday. I am trying to get them all in the habbit of cleaning up their own messes which is the entire house. I dont know if anyone else has this problem with their kids and maybe I should start my own disscussion about it, but my kids will get things out play with them maybe for 5 minutes and leave them and go to something else they also like playing with non toy things like paper and boxes and well basicly garbage. Not like yucky garbage but stuff that needs to be thrown out like empty paper towel roles and stuff like that which ya I understand are fun and all but not if you ruined them and now are just a peice or unrolled cardboard and heaven forbid they acually throw it away. But it is the same old thing I can bust my butt to clean the house which is a very large one, and minutes later there is a mess somewhere. So I find it pointless to clean every day, so if I know there is going to be company I will make sure that I get the house cleaned up and the kids are restrained somewhere where they cant mess it up again (LOL just kidding).

I used to do it all in one day, but now with the kids grown and moved away, I just try to do something every day. That way I have more time to do other things. The things I have to do everyday are laundry and dishes. They are neverending chores.

We're a family of seven, so I have to do light to moderate house cleaning everyday. Then, on one day out of each weekend, I'll do a heavy cleaning. Otherwise, this place would turn upside down and we'd have no clean clothes. That wouldn't be good for any of us. LOL

I do a little bit everyday. It helps pass the time, and with three kids a little bit every day keeps the house tidy in case someone stops by. usually about once every two weeks though, I will do one day of heavy duty cleaning.

I do light housework everyday - mop the floor, laundry every two days when the basket is half full, wash the bathroom everyday. I don't do one day of heavy cleaning. I just keep my house clean the way it is so there's not a need for any heavy cleaning.

Well,I do it every day, at my place and the places where I go to work as a nanny.I don't charge my families extra for it, they love it!

I do some everyday, but I also have days once in a while when I spend a lot of time doing the things that don't need to be done all that often.
