As I am his wife I can vouch for what he is saying. Our boys are spoiled and they are devoted to us like we are to them. They do understand us in everything we say. And trust me the get upset when someone calls them dogs! lol

I totally agree. My boyfriend and I call our two dogs our boys. I've always had pets, since I was a baby and love them like they are my family.
My boyfriend never really had any pets growing up, but he's adopted mine and loves them very much.;-)

Hi,I have a cat and he does understand what I say.He stays outside. He doesn't like to stay inside too much.He will talk to me and sometimes I think he is getting on to me. Yes pets think they are human when they have been with you for a long time. They can understand what you are saying and they will try to talk to you.Have a good night. Bless you.

I don't know if there are catbirds around here or not.I have never heard of them.I remember when I lived in Mississippi I looked out the window one day and there was a bird bombarding a cat.I don't know what the bird looked as it was too far away for me to tell.Could that have been a catbird? Tell your boys I said hello.

I am not one for cats. but, we that would act like a dog.She would meet you at the door and played with the dogs. one of the funnies thing i ever seen was a cat bird driving at her in the front yard. for about a week she could not go outside with out that bird missing with her. Do you have cat birds where you are at?

My pets are my children and I live kinda on a farm lol We have horses and dogs, cats, a rabbit and alot of wild life. oh and a betta fish must not forget him lol And yes they know what your saying ALL of them, they are all also spoiled and know when feeding time is. My pomerarian is probably the one who understands things the most and its so funny because he makes the most human like expressions lol I really love his " who me" look when he gets into trouble. Its not good to laugh at him after he has done something bad but you just cant help it lol.

I know that "who me look". We have four boys. One rottweiler and three miniature pinchers. My wife will get on to the boys and you can tell which one done it by who gets the look. My rottweiler will nod his head up and down. When you ask him if he needs to go out.If he does not nod he will not go out.nice talking to you.My wife is calling so i have to go
