Did everyone here read all 7 books of Harry and are we free to discuss all topic without spoiling anything? I've read all book several times, both in English and Dutch. Also got to read the two schoolbook, published for the good cause. By the way: has anyone read The Tales of Beetle the Bard yet?

I have read all seven books multiple times. I've read The Tales of Beadle the Bard once. It has the tale of the three brothers and other stories too. It is a really good book.

Hi moneymamma, The Tales of Beetle the Bard is the latest book of J.K. Rowling, Probably for real, die-hard fans of HP. It's published recently, this month I beleive. When you're only watching the movies, I guess you'll have to be patient before Beetle means anything to ya. It's a book, mentioned in the Deathly Hallows, so it will be in movie 7... Thanks for your respons

Hahaha Ricky, you sound like my brother! He's not in to reading books either, but when he started to read Harry Potter, he was unreachable! I looked at him like I saw water burning, bevcause he NEVER reads a book. So, when he was reading AND enjoying it, i felt I had to find out what was so special about Harry Potter. I was hooked on page one and finished The Philosopher Stone in 1 day.. Can I persuade you to give it a try... ;-)?

Hi njblair, Annie? Perhaps you mean Ginny? Or did I miss something?? I've always givven Snape the benefit of the doubt.. Dumbledore was too sure of him, so we had to asume there was more that met the eye.. Thanks for respons :-)

i did! i like Harry Potter since I first read the book which is the chamber of secrets. funny thing, I also read the prisoner of azkaban before I read the sorcerer's stone. But its ok because I've seen the movie so I was familiar with the characters. when I started reading harry potter I can't put it down. There is something in the book that makes me want to finish it in one sitting. There was this one incident wherein I was reading HP6 and its already 6:45 am in the morning and I am in the last chapter of the book and I still have a class by 7am. Good thing is my classmates texted me that our class was cancelled because our teacher cannot make it. Whew! I finished reading the book crying. I also want to read the new book of JK Rowling but I still have no money. They said Tales of Beetle the Bard is a good read.

Hi aquiah, Isn't it great, actually, that a book can make you NEED to finish, and leave you crying about it? So, I guess I'll be seeing you in my other topic ;-)

I did read all the Harry Potter books and I've watched all the movies with my two sons over and over, and have enjoyed them each time. I was so hooked on the books that I've bought the entire set of them and will be reading the entire series again and again. I have to say that the Harry Potter books are one of my favorite series.
