Hey Everyone.
Of Course no one can live without food, water and money. I am just asking things other than these.
Some do say that they just can't live without their computer. And they do spend their whole day in it. Is that so?? Why can't we live without our computer?? Its just a practice right??
If we get used to it we won't find it difficult of course. Haha.
Is there anything like that for you???

Besides my Honey it would probably have to be my TV.
I wouldn't know what to do without it.

Wow!! Thats really great. Too sentimental and I loved it.
Even I am not materialistic. As long as we have some jobs to do we won't be much using this Internet or TV. So its just fine. Haha.

HI,,
I suppose nothing.. i can leave in any circumstances and in any condition.. yes some time when i forget my mobile at home, it makes me uneasy for some time.. but i don't think that i can't live without it..
all things depends on your circumstances.. you can adopt any habit very fast but if you want to quit it, it is little bit hard but not impossible..
i feel usually boringness when my internet doesn't work properly or disconnected .
have a nice day...

I used to think I could not live without my guitar.
Without my music (I write songs)and later I thought I could not live without my computer.
But in the last year, I have changed a lot.
I am grateful for what I still have. But, I realize it might all be taken away from me sooner or later. (Bills that I cannot pay)
I used to worry about this a lot, and that only makes everything worse, including my health.
I am at the point know, that I could except it if I lost it all.
Don't get me wrong I still hope to keep what I still have.
But, I can live without if necessary.
Take care, happy mylotting.

Oops. Thats really too bad. Just take good care of your health.
And yes you are right. When its really necessary then we can surely live without it. Its just that we feel that we couldn't live without it. But thats not the truth. Haha.

Clean underwear. I could not bare to have to wear the same ones for days on end and not have clean ones. I can go without but I can't go with dirty ones. And, as far as my computer is concerned I can't go long without it.

Yes indeed I can not live without my laptop. Although I have had my laptop only for 6 months, it now appears that it is an integral part of my life. It goes everywhere with me as though it is a lifeguard. I sometimes wonder what i would do if i did not have my laptop.

I can't live without my computer and my tv. The computer is my addiction I spend most of my time on it. And the tv is where I spend the rest of my time lol. Just kidding I do other things during the day but I couldn't live without those 2 things. It would be like living with no air, that's how bad it is!

Living without air is not possible at all. But I don't think living without computer or TV is that bad. Haha. It may get bored without it but still we can manage it I guess.

I have tried to learn to live without sleep but it doesn't work very well.
If there was anything that I can't live without, it would be sleep, above all.
When I am tired, I can not function properly on every level.
Often resulting in a headache so I am forced to lay down.
If I lay down with a headache because I am sleep deprived, I will eventually fall asleep.
I would like to be able to live without my computer.
Basically the computer can become an addiction.
I know this from experience as well as observation.
It all started quite a few years ago when I was working, online full-time.
Years later, since I no longer work at that job, I still get the urge, everyday to log in. It became a daily ritual of sorts.
The money was very good back then too which was a strong contributing factor.
I swear that computer addiction has something to do with the radiation.
Our computers are a feel good zone too. It can be relaxing in most cases.
I think the computer, the logging on, the going online can become habit forming.
It was for me. Even though I had a very good reason to be doing so.
Have you ever been addicted to something?
Like coffee, chocolate, shopping etc?
Try not doing something that you are accustomed to doing regularly, like everyday.
It seems then, that very thing continues to pop into your mind and you get urges.
This is what being used to being on your computer is like when suddenly you don't have the option or decide to try and make yourself do other things and stay away from the computer.
The habit had been formed.
For me it is sleep, hands down, that I can not live without if I want to function, efficiently daily.
I wouldn't be too upset if I didn't have my computer.
I think I could learn to live without it.
Sure I can find a lot to do on the computer, online or not but sometimes it is better to just not turn it on, for what it is worth.
That way I can get much more done otherwise, that hasn't anything to do with the computer, at all.
Thank you for this discussion.

Very good explanation. And yes no one can live without sleep. Thats of course another basic need for everyone.
I am also addicted to this online earning. I just keep on posting either in this site or in some other sites that I am working with. Haha. I am addicted to online earning. But that doesn't mean that I could not come out of it. Haha. I will definitely. As of now, I am just free and so I am doing this. When I get a job, I would go for it and not gonna continue this one. At that time I would get used to that too.
I can also do without my computer and TV for a whole day. Haha. Its just practice. Lol.

As for me, I couldn't live a day without my cellular phone with me, its my complete aid as per appointment, celebration reminder, or simply a time breaker when it becomes too bored, whenever, I travel it is the only gadget I play with and send text messages or call my friends whom I have never get in touched for quite a long time. Technology these days, teaches us to be dependent on them.

Actually you won't believe me. I was also the same. I mean I thought I could never do without my cellphone. And in my college I had a name "Cellphone Vidhya". Thats just because I used to be with it always. But now, I am not using it much. I can even do without that. Haha.
My mobile fell in water and it took me 2 weeks to get another mobile. It was hard to do in the beginning but now I got used to it. Haha. Its just practice that makes us live without that products.
Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.

Okay apart from my husband, probably computer and mobile phone. These two are very important to me, because I am not in my home country and this is the only way, I can keep in touch with my family. But I think you are right, we just need a practice and get used to it, lol.

Just check the above comment done by me. I have written about how I was addicted with my mobile. When there is a situation where we could not use our mobile or PC, then we would definitely get used to it.
Of course it will be hard in the beginning. But once days go on, we can manage it. Haha.
