everyone would definitely answer that the best university is the school where they came from. it's expected :) we all patronize our Alma Mater, and that is understandable. I, for example will definitely choose Holy Angel University since i graduated from that school. Anyway other schools are great too, top schools are competing and it's still up to the students if they can learn or not. Have a great day!

hi! i believe that universitites such as UP, Ateneo or DLSU have their own experties and course offerings where they really excel. For engineering courses, i think La Salle-Taft is really a great choice because they have up to date facilities where students can experience hands-on operations. La Salle is also known for its business and economics courses. UP on the other hand produces great graduates of philosophy, political science and the like. and also good lawyers! as for ateneo, well, i dont have any idea! but ateneans speak english fast... ooops... that's all i can say.

it basically still depends on the student and their family. if you have the money then you can go to private school and be nurtured there if you think that will enhance your knowledge and skills better. if you cannot afford a private school, then go to state colleges and universities. mind you, they don't accept mediocre grades.. that's just my opinion and my observation. well, every school does anyway. i like my school whether they are popular or not, i liked it... its PUP.

In the Philippines UP is the #1 among all Universities but not all aspiring can enter the institutions. many process before you can get in. Not all students of UP are poor and deserving, they all accept rich and deserving. I am a graduate also of a university here but the university accept only those poor and deserving students from all over the Philippines. Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology was among on the Top 10 best universities in the Philippines. I believe the institution you are engaging matters also in your performance as an applicant. If you have good records plus best universities, the better!

I love Ateneo, my Alma Matter =) La Salle and UP are also great. I really think it depends on the course you plan to study =)

For me, UP is the best ofcourse! but it also depends on the course you want to take...if you want to be a dentist then go to CEU, if law then Beda...get it? =)

for me, it's still UP. That is, if you want a scholarship. If you have the bucks, go for Ateneo or La Salle.

i don't have any choices. It depends on the student who apply what they have learn in school.Even though you have graduated from this school and you don't have a job it still depends on a person.

Frankly and generally speaking, University of the Philippines is the best here. Although I am a graduate of a different, also popular university (included in your list), I can still say the most of the graduates of UP are above average. But ofcourse, there are stil graduates of other schools who excel in their own way. Like what others have said, I agree that it does not really depend on the school and people should not judge anyone just based on their school.
