classical or new generation dance.... which is good

I love classical dance and have been teaching it for 35 years. I enjoy going to see it on stage, watching it on film, etc. It is my passion and I will die dancing!! LOL

i know to dance ,but i like classical dances only and like them to see live or in tv. i enjoy a lot by seeing them and feels that i can;t do like them . so many days i have the ambition to learn the dance, but my parents are not interested. so i dropped the idea and now when i see any classical dancers ,i feel happy and encourage them also. i don;t like latest dances as there will be more sound and fast beats with them and sometimes we can;t understand the meanings of it.

Hi swetha, I like both, classical has grace and beauty. new generation dance has power and enthu. both are good if you learn classical you will be able to learn every type of dance however if you havent you will have difficulty to learn classical. thats why i give preferance to classical. enjoy mylottin
