Can you suggest what is the best digital camera that you have?

I just want to buy a new digicam, I am looking for a good quality digicam that is compact or lighweight. please kindly recommend me the best performance compare it to a top quality digital camera so that i can choose of what is the best one and affordable for me. I want a camera that can handle a wide range of subjects including landscapes, people. they told me that Canon is still the best camera, what do you think about it guys?

In the eight years since I bought my first digital camera back in 2000, I've only owned two different brands. A Vivitar was my first ever digital camera and I've owned two different Kodak Easyshare cameras. My current one is a Kodak Easyshare C813. Given that I don't really have anything to compare it with, I've always enjoyed my Kodak Easyshares.
I find it very easy to use and very easy to upload my pictures and vidoes with. But I've never used any digital cameras from Canon, so I can't compare the two.

I have to agree...Canon is the best. Both hubby and I use a Canon Digital and the pictures always come out crisp and clear looking. The ease of use with Canon also can't be beat. They are by far the best digital camera on the market today.
