I shop at Sams Club each weekend. Some items we buy we spilt with our daughter and or son. So not all of each item stays in my house. I have a terrible sweet tooth and last weekend I was craving candy of almost any type. So this is the result. I bought a 24 pack of Chuckles, a jelly type candy. Plus I also got a 3 lb 12 oz bag of Hershey Kisses. Do you buy candy in bulk? Do you shop at any store such as Sams, Costco, or Restaraunt SUpply Co.? Do you share tyhe exspense and split with others at all when you shop there? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yes! My family buys in bulk all the time. We are a regular Sams Club shoppers and it saves us a lot of money and many useless trips to the grocery store, when we do this. I thin that it is more convient this way.

That would be great to go to one store and get everything you need. Talk about convenience! I'm in Canada and I haven't heard of Sam's Club, is it an American store?

I LOVE Chuckles!! I'm jealous. I don't buy bulk items since it's just me here. I have a terrible sweet tooth, too, so I always have something around. Today I saw a package of Hershey's kisses filled with caramel marked down half price so I got it.

Chuckles are one of my fave candies actually. Since childhood I've loved Chuckles. I also eat them in a certain order. Black first then green then yellow, red, finally orange. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I always saved the green for last, I love lime! Do you remember when lifesavers had a couple of lime ones in them? No more! Now it's watermelon, yuck!! They had pineapple, too. Man, those were yummy!

Yes, I shop at Costco's, I usually buy paper products in bulk not candy. I amy get cravings for candy once in a blue moon, so I wouldn't buy candy in bulk. If they sold necco wafers in bulk, I would buy that for my husband, because he loves them. I sometimes get those for him at the family dollar store, but have not been there in a long time. I may buy something like peppermints in bulk, because we always like to have them. Enjoy your candy.

Shopping in bulk is not my style. I like to change my menu and discover new food. I don't eat much and I get easy tired with the same food. It all depends on number of people in household and diet... I don't share with anyone, simply because my family members are far away.

Hi Grandpa Bob! We live in a smaller city, and the next big city is hours away in all directions so we don't have stores like Costco here where you can buy candy in bulk. I like you do have a HUGE sweet tooth, so I usually go after holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Hallowe'en and get candy when it's 50 to 75% off and buy lots to stock up so I guess in a way it's like I'm buying bulk lol. Have A Great Day, PurpleTeddyBear xx

I'm pretty sure we don't have a Sams Club here in Canada, but I know we have a Walmart! That is where I get my holiday candy (usually a day or 2 after the holiday has passed) dirt cheap and stock up!

So that's where you've been the past few days... in a sugar coma! I don't shop in the big club stores, but I've been in them before. You really have to know your prices because a lot of the stuff isn't any cheaper, really, especially after you factor in your membership fee.

I have been ill with a severe cold actually. Did not feel like MyLotting lately is all. But a sugar high was the end result of that I'd say. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I don't buy treats in bulk, GB, as I don't have much self control and would probably go home and eat the lot all in one sitting! It's a good idea to buy bulk with other people, though - good value! I'd like to do that with vegetables if I could find a good, fresh market. Unfortunately, there are none in our area, and we're forced to buy second-rate, horrible vegies from a supermarket. The stuff has been in cold storage for so long it has no flavour at all - and most of the fruit never ripens.

I grow my own veggies in the summer etc. So fresh veggies this time of year are costly at stores of any type here. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We shop at Sam's, but we don't buy lots of candy other than Hershey's. And, when we buy at Sam's, we are usually only buying for ourselves. Occasionally, I may get something for my daughter and her kids. There are just some things I like to get at Sam's in the larger size because it is cheaper than buying at the regular grocery store.

Hi GRANDPA BOB, I don't have a sweet tooth but my husband has and he buys a lot of chocolate bars and he has it once a day but I like savoury better. Tamara

I don't shop at Sam's I keep saying I am going to start. I have family members that shop there. I live alone so I don't need that much and by me being by myself, it seems a bit too expensive for me. And no I do not buy candy in the bulk, if I did I would have to eat it all by myself and I certainly would do just that. I try not to eat too much sweet so I don't have it in the house much. I will break down and buy me some cookies often, I don't need those either but I just want me something sweet too sometimes.

We used to shop at Sam's long time ago but now we just go to our local GFS store and buy bulk there. I seldom share with others simply because we end up using what we bought soon enough.

Grandpa Bob I shop at Costco and I have shared food items with my friends mostly instead of my children because my children do not live close enough. I bought a lab of pork ribs that I had froze all together so I could cook when I had company in November and I did not cook them, so I did give them to my daughter. She has 4 people to feed and it is just my hubby and I. I did not want the left overs to go to waste.

We used to have a Sams membership. My hubby would buy in bulk. That was when my daughter was an infant. We gave up the membership a while ago. But now we have a 9 week old son. And diapers in bulk is looking good again.

I shop at Sams quite often myself. Me and one of my sisters go and split up things a lot of times. The way my house is with people in and out all the time it never goes to waste. I bought a big plastic container of pretzls this weekend and my son had some friends over Sat night so it's just about gone now. They like to dip them in mustard so pretzels and mustard is already on the top of my next trips list! LOL

I shop at Tescos online. It delivers up my grocerys without leaving my home. It is a good thing, as I always buy way too much at the stores when I go there myself. My Mother always gets me meat from the butchers and never visits me without something or other. I really appreciate it sometimes with having the four children. Well I like to give also, but just a few things to my eldest. I would buy her odds and ends or special offers I pick up.
