Last week I made a signal to one of my colleagues that her jacket was stuck in her car door. She drove all the way from her home to the place of work with the jacket stuck in the door without realising this. Has this ever happened to you? Did you ever drive your car with your jacket stuck in the car door?

Nope, it had never happened to me because i dun drive.. hehe ^_^ But when this incident happen, it can be quite dangerous as well as embarassing..
Dangerous, because the door cant be shut tightly and when they are negotiating a sharp bend, the door can just swing open anytime.. Embarassing will be for gals because they tend to be wearing skirts, especially long skirts.. Once they are caught, they wont be able to know, as alot of drivers might be laughing or even smiling to her.. hehe

I have driven with my skirt stuck out.But people in India are very concerned about others safety and on such days (which is quite frequent) people will be making gestures on the road looking or pointing to my car. this is how i realise it and do the needful.

Not my coat but I have gotten my skirt caught in the door like that and drove all the way to town like that. It was one of those long flowing ones.

I've driven for a while with the belt of my coat stuck in the door. Which is bad because when I open the door depending on the weather, the belt can be wet and dirty. I've also drive around with my skirt caught in the door. It hasn't happened in a while, but it has happened a couple times throughout my lifetime.

Its funny when it happens to you..lol. It hasn't happened to me, but it did happen to my mother in law one time, we were in the same car. We were driving down the highway, and we kept hearing this noise coming from the side of the car, a knocking sound. We couldn't figure out what the heck it was, then when we got home, we noticed that my mother in laws belt on her coat was caught in the door, thats the sound we kept hearing, it was funny...lol.

I never drove a car before but I have had the door close in the passenger seat while my dress was hanging out of it.

Yes I had this happen one time when my ex and I were moving his futon mattress from one house to another. Someone stopped us and told us that they thought we had blown out a tire. We looked and it was jusy my exes jacket the arm of it was hanging out the door flapping against the ground lol. Glad that was what it was and that we hadent actually blown a tire.

No, I don't drive, but, I've been a passenger with my hair stuck in the car door or my dress stuck in the car door many times! LOL! So many times I've had to say, "Wait a minute, wait a minute! I have to get my hair out of the door!" LOL!

Hi ya ronaldinu
I can't say this has never happened to me but I can't recall a time that I have done it! What I do do a lot of the time is catch my seat belt in the door. As I have one of those seat belt pads, the seat belt never retracts fully because the pad stops it from doing that. I quite often forget to just make sure the belt is in the inside before slamming the door and sometimes I hear a crunch where I have slammed the door on the buckle!!!! I must check and have a look sometime to see what damage I have done to the door and belt!!
