Are you good at putting stuff away?

At my desk right now? 1 drinking glass 6 empty pepsi cans 4 used Kleenexes 4 opened letters some candy wrappers tape measure a cross that fell off the wall

well, today i am sick but usually i feel that i am the only one in the family (2 adults, 2 kids) that is putting things away. it gets to be annoying after awhile and i sometimes just get fed up. but i am the one that hates the mess.

i also have clutter on my computer desk too but not at all the time. the usual thingst hat you see on my pc table is my mug if coffee that i bring out as soon as i finish sipping it, my digital camera but only if i need to transfer pictures, a pen and a paper ( that is always here on my table) home phone or land line, and tv and dvd remote. sometimes my tablet dispencer is also here at my table but not seen all of the time. i can not work properly if the table has a lot on it. i wuld rather clean it or tidy it up first before starting to do anything on line.

Oh gosh, dont even make me look!LOL I have 2 desks. The study table one where all my stuff are dumped that you wont even see the surface of the desk. A lot of stuff is in there from books, notebooks, scrap papers, empty water bottles, a mini traveling flat iron, 3 or 4 bags with lots of stuff inside them piled one after the other, a file case, folders, pens, scissors, glue, notepads, rulers, cd's, etc. The other desk that I use would be the one used for the desktop computer. I really dont use the desktop computer since it doesnt have a monitor. Ive been using my laptop ever since my desktop monitor got transferred to my mom's desktop since her monitor got busted. So in this desk, there's the CPU, the keyboard, mouse, then there are file cases, folders, a toy, calculator, cellphone, strap, pen, telephone, earphones, and a pillow. Im using a reclining sofa for a chair instead of a desk chair. Im actually lying on the sofa while using my laptop so the computer desk is really just for putting stuff on, like maybe when I need papers or Im researching for an assignment.^_^

hello ritz your computer desk sounds about like the one that i have in my dining room. lol i have all kinds of things that do not belong on it also. so to answer your question about am i good about putting things where that they should go?, no i am not. who cares? i also have a small sewing kit on my computer desk. lol am sure not where to put that unless i tuck it away in one of my bedroom drawers and then if i do that, i won't remember where that i put it. lol you know? take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

My desk is full of clutter! I have stacks of paper, books, folders, tablets, etc. But even though it may look a frightful mess to everyone else, ironically, I know where everything is.

i think i am OK... not so good but not too bad as well... i don't like to be untidy especially my working place... so i try my best to put away the stuffs where i get them from so that my place won't look messy... take care and have a nice day...

As I sit before my computer desk and typing this, I am proud to say my desk is pretty much uncluttered (not to chide you or anything like that). I always have had the principle that whatever I need I keep but whatever I don't, I throw away. My wife nags me about how much they cost when I bought them but I don't care how much they cost me when I bought them - I just know that I don't need them now and they will be thrown away. Sometimes it IS hard to do that but when my 6 X 3 foot desk was full of things I never cast a second eye upon ever again, I knew I had to do something drastic. I used to keep pens that no longer write, pencils with broken leads, empty ink bottles - my desk looked like the one at the recycling center at rush hour!

At the moment I'm sitting on my bed with my laptop. But, I look over at my desk, and there is the small basket I stick my mail in til I read it and either file it or throw it away, my ashtray, my case that holds my flash drives ( it's small and just got it today) and the base and set of wireless headphones. I can't stand working at a desk that is messy lol. On the desk in the other room, where my desk top computer is.....that's about it there, except for a couple of books. But, my b/f's computer desk........oh my gosh, there are bills, and papers, and things to shread, and to file, his glasses, ashtray, various pens, tablets, and who knows what else LOL. but that's his mess, not mine! lol

Hi Ritz100, I have a LapTiop on my coffee table and I also have lots of things on it books nails kit water bottle, cream toilet roll nail varnish cigs and lighter ashtray vaseline and a cat hehe. Love and hugs. Tamara

I always try to keep my desk clean.. i don't like much stuff here as my computer desk isn't big enough to accommodate lots of things.. I have only placed the items that i always use on the daily basis. Here are the things you can find at my top desk: - My laptop - Mouse - Mouse pad - Ipod Speakers - Small lamp - Small Mirror - My mobile phone - Ointment Then under my top desk, you'll find: - My nintendo ds lite - Planner and pen - ds lite and mobile phone charger

My desk is very tidy.I like to keep my things in neat positions so that I will know where to find them.i tend to throw or keep away those unnecessary stuff so that I have more space on my table for me to do my work.This apply to my everyday life but sometimes I procrastinate.

LOL your desk sounds like mine....here goes: 2 coffe cups 1 soda bottle 1 drinking glass 2 pairs of gloves 1 watch 3 medicine bottles 1 wallet 1 salt shaker 1 hair barrett 1 hair tie 4 AA batteries 1 music CD 1 socket 1 plate 1 recipe card box 11 books 2 packages of hair curlers 6 notebooks 3 napkins 1 pair of sunglasses That of course is besides the stuff that belongs there.

LMAO, I cleaned up my computer area about a month ago, just around christmas time...so right now it is still good, give me time I am sure I will come up with more things, but I just have a pad of paper, a pen, my speakers, my glasses, hand lotion and 4 webkins that belong to my son....LOL so for now I am good!! LOL

Hi Ritz well compared to yours mine is pristeen LOL. All I have on mine is the computer monitor, key board and mouse and a glass and a bottle which I am drinking from, oh and my car keys, thats it. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hey ritz! Well, mine isn't that bad yet! When my boyfriend put my computer workstation together I promised him and myself that I would keep it neat and not put all kinds of stuff that didn't belong on the top shelf up there. Well, I have been pretty good, so far! I have a small snack table that is next to me that I am trying to keep orderly with the things like pen, pads, nail file, calculator and a few other odds and ends that I have in a cute red plastic basket. I am determined not to let it look all sloppy since it is in the kitchen!
