This has got to be one of the most outrageous, despicable things I've ever heard of! http://www.orlandosentinel.com/orl-bk-caylee-anthony-doll-012609,0,523114.story A company called "Showbusiness Promotions" plans to sell a "tribute doll" to the slain toddler Caylee Anthony. It will go on sale on Tuesday for $29.99 with a "portion" of the profits to be donated to a yet to be named charity. The doll will sing "You Are My Sunshine" when it's belly button is pressed. "Jaime Salcedo, president of Showbiz Promotions, said he is not selling a doll that looks exactly like Caylee because it would be too morbid and difficult for the public." Mr. Salcedo appeared on tonight's Nancy Grace show and said the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children had been contacted but had declined to be associated with this promotion. It has also been reported but not confirmed by Salcedo that a mere $3.00 would be donated from each doll sold. Is anyone else as sickened by this as I am or do you just think it's capitalism at work? Annie, That is so bad. Did you hear about what happened to the Obama girls and the dolls there. Children should be off limits. Ainge

You're so right, kids should be off-limits. The Obama girls should be allowed to live as normal a live as their parents obviously want them too. It's going to be tough enough on them as it is without idiots trying to exploit them. Annie

This is disgusting and morbid. I cannot imagine anyone would purchase this doll. What do you tell your child? "Honey I want you to have this cute little doll named Caylee. They think her Mommy killed her." Of course, it takes two to tango. Just as there was someone sick enough to make this doll, there will be someone sick enough to buy it. We can only hope that so few dolls sell, the company loses its shirt and they think twice before they do something so callous like that again. That's a real hoot that they are donating any money at all to the foundation for Missing and Exploited Children. What do they think they are doing to poor little Caylee with that d!@% doll?

That is just so wrong! It is down right sickening. I am sure it wasn't meant to be, but that is how it has come across.

What is happening to the human race?? Humanity has disappeared and greed seems to be taking priority. How could anyone buy such a terrible doll. IMO pure unadultered greed is what has brought our country down to state we are in and I just hope NO-ONE purchases this doll.

I certainly agree! I can't imagine that anyone with a heart would buy it unless they're really misled into believing the proceeds will go to something that will help children. What a load of bull that is! Annie

Hey annie! Is this guy sick or what? I can't believe that someone would actually capitalize off the murder of an innocent child! That is beyond anything that is believable! I wish that there was some way that this moron could be stopped! I just hope that no one would dare by this doll! It is simply morbid and psychotic to think that someone would be so low to do something this twisted! I am sick just thinking about how this person can show his face in public! I personally would like to punch him in his face and I pride myself in being non-violent so you know that I am truly outraged!

I'm with you. Some people will do anything for a buck and I have no problem boycotting them. It's really poor taste.

I know I'd never buy anything from this company if they have anything else to sell. Annie

I think it is sickening also. They are just out to make a buck from it. I feel so sorry that the family is having to even deal with the grief. That is bad enough as it is.

Some of these "CONS" will stoop at anything to make money, it's a shame that the relatives have to be reminded of that tragic act. Some times I don't know what to think about people, doesn't that jerk have any empathy at all? Anything to make a buck.

Well it's awful and it's capitalism. If any are stupid enough to buy then it will surely become capitalism and I'm sure that we will see more if the company actually makes money off of it.

That is just crazy. It always amazes me what people will do in this world to make a few bucks. Some people have no integrity.
