The nine most terrifying words in the english language are,"I'm from the govermment and I'm here to help". was the first thing you did after read this? If you are like me, you counted the words. Did you? I like Ronald Reagan but, i think it's in my nature.

No actually I didn't think about counting the words written or that he said. I just thought he is right. That's how I'd feel if a person from the government said this to me. I'd wonder what is it this person wants? I guess this is in my nature when it comes to the government, suspision. It's hard to trust the government with all they have done and do. They just want our money and keep finding more ways to get it for spending on things they want to support. I don't trust them as far as I can get in the levels of their establishment wheich is not past the first floor so to speak. lol

Hi Moondancer. From my last two response, I think i may have made a mistake posting this. We run the goverment, they work for us. If they have forgot that, we need to get another person or persons.Times are hard,But they are going to get better.

Yes, you are right but after over 50 years of dealing with "the government" and their way of doing things they all say they are going to do this or that when running for office...then they do hardly anything they promised when in office. Some of them may have full intention of getting in and changing things, then they get sucked into the "regular" way of things the way they have been for years. In fact many times the others pick people to run that they can control. Things will get better, but it needs to be sooner than later.

hi rockcollector! well, even if it only five words, i would really be terrified. i dunno, we are supposed to trust our government, after all, we were the ones who put these officials in their place, but it seems we cannot trust them. maybe we can trust them as a whole, like as a majority, but not with our individual concerns. we know that the government can come after us and make our lives hell. as much as possible, we would like to stay away from government and the government officials. we don;t want them poking into our lives. this can get messy, lol anyway, i would not want them into my life as well. i mean, they just run the government, not my life. take care and God bless you! :-)

Hi spoiled311. The trust is way down in these hard times. But,it is going to get better,it always does. From reading your posting i am hopeing i typed it in right, you know used all nine words. it's early in the morning. One of my fiends from work uses it as a bye line for his e-mail. i have read it a number of times and i find my self counting the number of words.
