The second woman in USA history gave birth to octuplets, or eight kids in one delivery. Each child was tiny, being born just over two months premature, with three being given assistance in breathing. All the tots will be in incubators, as being from one to under four pounds, they have trouble keeping control of their little body temps.
*
Mom will be breastfeeding her children.
*
The C-Section delivery took just five minutes. Number eight was a surprise to doctors and mother. How he or she managed to escape note by ultrasound I can't say. Maybe hiding behind siblings?
*
Mum doesn't want media attention so we don't know the names of the mites.

ya, i too read the news, and if the mother doesn't want i think it should be left personal,i think medai should not disturb them much.....such wonders happen rarely so naturally people will talk to some extent. May God keep all of them safe and healthy.

This was not a natural birth. The mother had IVF treatment to get pregnant and had eight embryos implanted. She refused selective abortion to safeguard a smaller number. Doctors all over the country are having fits about the lack of ethics on behalf of the clinic this woman went to.

It is likely she did en-vitro and several little embryos implanted. She wouldn't abort any. Therefore, a whole lot of little ones were born 9 weeks early.

Wow i thought sextublets was the biggest at one time. This woman must have set the record. I hope all babies survive the next struggling months ahead of them.

From what I understand, they're not too bad off...three need assistance breathing, and the others are in incubators simply because they're tiny. They're all likely to survive.
