wouldn't be the process of getting that tattoo always painful as it is?
for me, i wish that tattooing will be a practice among people which shall be put to a halt. this is because, i prefer to see people's skins untainted with those inks.

Yes i see your point and i guess i do agree :]
Personally I would only only get a REAL tattoo if i thought i had a good enough reason or it represented something important to me. For some odd reason I've had a habit of drawing eyes on people [not random people, my friends] since as lond as i can remember therefor to me it would be an act of expression.
Having said that, i'm still going to stick with fake tattoos or just none at all xD

I have always wanted on on the small of my back. But I need to lose weight first, no sense in having a tatoo you don't want to show off because of the rolls back there!!

I think its solely up to the person who is getting the tattoo..I mean for me personally the ONLY place I WOULDNT recommend or get a tat done is on my face really...some ppl though think somewhere where it can be hidden is best. Its totally up to you, what you are getting done, how big it is and do you need to hide it for personal or work purposes maybe etc etc...

I totally agree the placing is soley up to the person. Though, I agree I wouldn't want to get a tat on my face. Being able to have a hidden tat is best because then it would be easier for some jobs. I know the jobs I want won't allow for visible tattoos, so all of mine are hidden.

I don't know it all depends on you and how much you want it to been seen or if you want it to be seen. Personally I'd get one just because I wanted one to satisfy something in me that wanted to get one. I'd have mine on the shoulder in the back on the top. I've thought about having one there, the lover back and the back of my neck.
My daughter in law got one on the lower back. It was pretty detailed and large. She said it hurt more than the other things she had done. I also thought and if it wouldn't cost so much money having one that would be in the middle of my back and cover the whole thing from top to bottom. Not all of the area just a something, figure of something that I like.

it depends on the design.
different designs look good in different places.
places like the shoulderblades and lower back hold up particularly well to ageing,
at the moment I have one on my foot, one on my lower back, and I plan to have one on my hipbone, one around my opposite ankle to the foot tattoo, and I'm considering one on the inside of my wrist too.
so really, you have to consider the shape of the design you have chosen, and where it will best follow the lines of your body to compliment your body and the tattoo design.

At the tattoo shop, haha I never did like tattoos they are a defacing of Gods temple, in my humble opinion.

how i wish that you will not proceed with this plan, momtrying2makeit. i have always disapproved of persons with tattoos since as a child. it never looked good. why would anyone want to have it when in fact, everyone is doing something with their skins to make it impeccably clean and smooth?
getting tattoos is the exact opposite of getting rid of all those imperfections in the body, particularly, the skin. so, please, don't proceed with whatever may it be that you are thinking of pursuing for now.

i like the lower back because it's easy to hide with clothes and if you put it off to the side you can still wear a low cut back fancy dress for a night out. that is if you want to hide it for those fancy occassions

If it was something small I would get it on my wrist. I'm not someone who really likes tattoos, so if I were to ever get one it'd have to be kindof hidden. Like maybe on my back somewhere. Or on the right side of my stomach. or on my foot. I've always like the idea of a tattoo on the wrist though.
