How old are you? Would you lie about your age?

I only lie about my age to strangers or internet people. I do that because I dont know them so I lie and I'm pretty sure they lie about there age to.

I don't have an issue with telling my age or not telling it. It doesn't matter anyway what I am in physical years. What matters to me is that in my mind I am much younger than My years. I feel younger in my mind. It's hard to believe all of those years have passed and I don't feel my age. I am sick and feel bad often, but it has no effect most times on how old I feel.

I'm 54(& a half!). I dont lie about it...what's the point? Anyway, I think I'd have to do a lot more than lie about my age to make myself desirable As you say, age is just a number & being 'old' is a stste of mind (though of course, some people do develop physical restrictions).

I am 28 and everybody knows that. What makes me sad about my age is that I now have more responsability then when I was 23. At 23 I was at the university now I have a fulltime job that is killing me. But for the rest is really just a number that most people don´t even believe when I say. I think that what makes the difference is the way you feel inside. This is what you show outside. Right now I don´t feel so good inside. I feel a bit frustrated. But for sure when someone feel really young and happy they won´t show their real age, they will always look younger.

i dont get offended by telling people my age but what i do get offended about it is when u tell people ur age and they think your lieing now that really gets to me! im 18 but look younger so people think im lieing mostly guys stupid idiats !!

I am running 28 and i know i am not getting any younger. Yet i am still proud of my age. I think i look younger than what my age tells (harharhar). My hubby seems to hide or forget his age and i always tease him that he's being a grandfather to me lol even though his face is way younger than his actual age.

Nope. I will not lie about my age. I am going nineteen this April and I'm still doing fine. Why do we lie about our age anyway?

Well, my age isn't really a big issue since I'm not that old ... But mostly people don't like to believe with my age because I look younger with my age.. They always told me that I look so young with my age but whether they believe it or not that's my age.. I'm already 21 years old but people look at me as if I'm 18.. Actually, I'm happy with my looks but sometimes I feel irritated when people treat me like a teenage girl.. Just like here in our office, they always treat me as if I'm a teenager.. Many people don't believe with my age when everytime they asked me about my age and they don't also believe that I'm already working since I look like a student..

I am 18, and I never lie about my age. I am mature for 18. I am doing the normal things that 18 year olds do, such as go to college, thinking about going to university, going out with friends and the like, but at the same time I am also running my small business and have a number of staff who work for me. This makes me feel very mature, and some people don't believe that I'm only 18, particularly those who work for me. But I am, and I wouldn't lie about my age to impress anybody. It doesn't work like that, and you would always get found out in the end.

hello n30wing i do not get offended or get irritated when somebody wants to know my age. i just turned forty-six last October. i will be forty-seven this October. i do not think that i look forty-six years old either. my Mom just turned seventy-nine this past December and she doesn't look a day older than forty-nine. smooth face, hardly no wrinkles or anything like that for her being that age. i hope that i look like she does when i reach it to the age of seventy-nine. take care and have a beautiful day today!

When I was younger like 13, I use to lie and say I was older then I was if I was talking in chat rooms or something, but I also lied about my name and where I was from cause I didnt know who I would be talking to. But now that Im older I dont lie about my age. I see no point in it. Im 22.

well you will find girls who will lie their ages, i too dont understand why they hide their age but well often i have found this many times that the girls never tell their accurate age. i have seen men too but compared to female you will find men less

i'm 23 years of age and i too have no reason to lie about my age. i'm not ashamed of being 23 and i know i wont be for 24,25,and so on.

I'm 20 twice, plus a year.;) ... I really have no problem telling my age to anyone. I don't quite understand why it's considered rude to ask a woman their age... it only seems to offend women that are trying to look younger and are failing miserably. In my head, I'll forever be 17, and that's all that matters. :)

I am 38 yrs old. I never lie about my age. I look a lot younger. At least my wife says so. I am still in doubt whether she is pulling my leg or not. Since according to her I behave like a teenager sometimes and not a grown up man. however I do take it as a complement. It means that I am still young in the spirit.

The most ideal age for me is 25. That's why when I'm asked about my age I always say 25 because that's when I stopped adding years to my age. Seriously though,I never lied about my age. Why should I? It's not the number that matters but it's whether you act as you should and learned as much as you should have considering your age. I'm proud to say that I'm 46, but most people would comment that I don't look my age. Most of them would say I look younger.

Hello n30wing! I am 31 and I am very honest about my age. I really do not see any reason why I should even lie about my age. I don't take offense in questions related to my age. However, it also depends on what these people are really trying to point out. Like for instance, they would ask my age and when they learn about my age would ask why I still am single. Or, they would tease me about becoming an old lady. It would be irritating to some extent.

I gave up lying about my age once I reached 21. Yep, it is just a number . I'm 58 for the record

I am 23 years old and I would not lie about my age to anyone for any reason. Its so funny whenever we go to the casino the same person will card me a million times. Every time they ask even if they just saw me five minutes before if im sure im 21. On my birthday we went into the store to buy stuff to make margeritas and I was with my friend who is 30 and they asked if I was her daughter. They told her she couldnt have her child in the store with her. I told them we were friends and I was 23 and they made me show my id in the middle of the store before I could even get to the check out.

Well the fact to lie of the age is not so sensible.As the age telling will come later rather than anybodys sees you and think that his/her age would be 20 as it would be 30-40. This is a fact, that how you are going to look by your personlity. Well as for very older people there is no other way to tell the truth rather than lying as it shows exactly how old you may be.
