if there is ever a path for you to take, which would you choose?
path A- unlimited amount of money but with an incurable disease that leaves you bedridden for life
path B- healthy and fit but have to toil day and night for a miserable amount of food eg. a bowl of rice with only meager amount of meat and vegetables

I choose the latter path. I would prefer to be so because I know and believe that to be healthy and fit make me capable and able to do things through hard work. I may be miserable for a while, but can get over it eventually. Unlike having unlimited yet am bedridden, how can i enjoy life being so ill and hopeless. Success comes from hardwork and many rich people came from rags. They started from hardship - say from being a janitor to a businessman, or a newspaper to a politician. What is the purpose of having everything when you are a burden? Can you achieve happiness from having unlimited sum of money when you could not share your happiness with your family. Path B may lead to a better future when you use your being healthy and fit. Challenges and trials may come along the way, but there's hope on the way. As the saying goes, "There's always a rainbow after the rain"

Yes, I believe so. It's us who makes our own destiny. It's how we build the bridge in order for us to reach the other end. And so, if your goal is to get rich and help your family, do something with it. Trials may come along, but if you are determined and persistent, you'll go far. Who would want richness when you could no longer enjoy life.
I respect what others chose as their path. Am just hopeful that there's always sunshine after dawn.
In addition, ultimate happiness is felt when your offspring are very proud of you and made you their inspiration and model to achieve success.

Maybe path A if I have my own family. I have to think of their future and I want them to experience and have all the things I cannot do because of my disease. I can choose path B if I live by myself and doesn't have anyone by my side. In that case, I just have to worry about myself.

A- I'd rather be sick and have the money for the comforts that I need and want until I leave this earthly plan. I'd rather be in pain,(and I can say this as I am constantly in retractable pain) and be able to have the things I need and food to eat such as fruits which I love, and a few other things.
I can run a business from a bed, having an assisstant and help my children when they need it and have something to leave my family when I'm gone.
