Actors

Hi dfoll, NO FRIKKIN WAY!!!!! As harry and friends grow into maturity in the books, so do the actors that play them. They should simply try to start filming sooner, instead of making people wait for about another for years ;-) The've casted these kids, and as I understand, contracted them for 7 movies. So don't mess with it, I say! :-)

i want the original actors to play their parts till the end! when i read all the books i've always pictured those actors playing their parts. anyway, the last 2 books were very very dark already and having a baby faced kid replace the lead actors is kinda weird. with whatever hardships harry and his friends have gone through i think having them look more mature is understandable.

NO WAY! That would be such a huge mistake and would angry a ton of fans. I haven't waited far too long to see the final movie(s) to have to get used to new actors in the roles I love. If they have a problem with the actors being too old, then they can only blame themselves for taking too long to get the movies made. These actors are their characters. No one else can do the job as convincing as them. We know them, we love them. IF they get new actors, I think they will lose money. I know I won't go see the movie(s) in the theater if they have new actors. So keep the actors and hurry up and finish filming so we can see them.

I don't know why they just don't make the rest of the movies all at once. The way they are doing it is beyond stupid.

Hello dfollin! I really don't agree if they will get a new actor who will portray as harry potter and I am pretty sure other harry potter fan too would not agree with this. I don't think it's a good idea to get a new one. I don't think it would be a hit then.

I think this would be a huge mistake. Most of us who are fans of the books and movies see these actors as these characters. There is no way they can replace them and have the audience believe. I'm still having problems with Dumbledore and that was a change that had to be made. They purposely filmed movie after movie just so that they could keep these actors as the characters. On the bright side of all this, I do believe all the actors have already been signed to complete the series.

No, they shouldn't get new actors for the last movie. These kids are the characters. I am sorry, but Daniel is Harry Potter and no other substitute will do. I think that would be very disrespectful and wrong. They use adults to play teens on tv all the time. Let these fine actors finish what they have started.

yes they should cange the people as you said it,s a kids movie and we want to keep kids interested in this movie can,t do that with adults.

Yes there should be continuity to the story. how they grew into adults. That would be a good sequel to the movie. Daniel grew to be shorter than "Weasley" . He would have been a debonair had he been taller just a wee bit..lol...but the cast is terrific. happy mylotting.
