I have discovered a site that a guy is selling a script for just $5 which enables the user to copy and paste even if the user did not reach the 500 posts mark. I would like to give the link to the mylot admin team. How can I do that? How can one stop cheaters on mylot?

You have to contact the myLot administration. If you go to the contact, and press the "other" It brings up a contact form. You can fill in the information and give the link. The mylot administration will investigate and email you back, and it will probably appear on the guidelines or the info. sent in a email to all members.

Thanks suspenseful. I have already done that and the administration have been informed via a private message. I do hope that they do take action.

Hi ronald why don't you email admin and tell them, that maybe the only way you can tell them and give them the link. This has been brought up before in someone's discussion about the cheaters it just makes me wonder how these cheaters can do this..its unfair to us all..littleowl

ronald by all means write to mylot using the contact us at the bottom of the page and then tell them about this link. I don't know what they can do about it but maybe they can do something. I hope so as people should not be able to benefit from anothers website.

U should just report the link to mylot by sending them an email.. Those cheaters must be stopped because they are spoiling the whole image of mylot.. ON top of that, those lazy ple are not welcome in mylot if they were to cheat just to ern more money.. They dun deserved to be in here at all.. However, there's a way to find out if they are cheaters, especially for old timers here.. haha =D But i wont say which are the ways, so that when i get hold of those cheaters, i will be able to give them a hard time.. lol =D

Informing the admin should be the thing to do and nothing else. They will be the one to take care of that person and probably they will try to get around with the script which was developed by the programmer.

Yes you certainly should report this to myLot admin and let them deal with it as far as I am concerned ronaldinu. The copy and paste rule was bought in because of the cheating and spamming that was going on. At the time they bought that rule in I had 400 something posts from memory so like many others I had to type in my responses etc. There are 2 things wrong with this as far as I am concerned. One is that someone is making a profit when it seems they are too lazy to make honest posts like everyone else. The other is that if this script is genuine and works, then it opens myLot wide open for abuse. That is what the admin is/was trying to prevent when the rule was first introduced as far as I know. Of couse there is always the possibility that the script does not work and it is just another way to scam money out of people. If that was to happen then those potential cheats will lose their money and it serves them right too. However the person selling the script is gaining/profiting and that is simply not right.

Whenever I read a post like this here, I try to understand these people who go to such extents in order to get the $10. But at the end of the day, when I look at my earnings, it all does seem unfair. I do hope that the moderators or the admin team will be able to block the program and give real credit to those who work hard posting replies here at mylot.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the contact button. Report the user and the link to the script if possible. Let us know if the guy is banned and how soon.

I think you can just write to admin about it. How did you hear about it? Why on earth would someone want to spend 5 dollars just to be able to copy and paste stuff? Sounds silly to me. Cheers and happy Mylotting

Any report about member's notorious activity can be made through myLot "contact" link located at the bottom of the page. Of course myLot admin. Will look into it by referring to TOS(Terms of Service) for their decision making and definitely not base on reputations made by reporter.

Hmmmm.... this is new. I have been away for a long time and this is the first time I heard about it. I guess that is not fair. Everybody should work hard and fair here. I just don't have any idea how the admin will know about it... but then, maybe they have the technology to detect that. And I don't worry much about those cheaters... they will have their karma.

This disgusts me, especially because he is making money of it. It's wrong even if it were free, but this is a scam in every possible way and also illegal if you ask me. I think you'd best e=mail or pm the site admin. I believe they have a username called mylot, but the easiest way would be through the link at the bottom of every screen reading 'contact'. Good luck, good thing you spotted this guy!!!

Can you please, for my sake...explain this a little more in depth! I am "challenged" on this one, as I do not understand what is happening..and what the consequences are! Sure hope someone, with some real myLot smarts can answer this for you...AND for all of us, who are enjoying being here! Thanks for the heads up!

Thank you, as usual..ronaldinu....for attempting to clear the cobwebs out of this already adled grey matter betwixt my ears! I have had two days of ISP problems, not uncommon here...but they have me by the "shorts"....I choose to live rural, so I have only ONE ISP available to me! If I live 5 miles either side of me, I would have had two choices! Woe is me...hence my "none responses!"

That isn't anything new. I found that site or another like it, a very long time ago and I still come across one every once in awhile. I don't know how it could possibly work without mylot knowing about it. You could send the link to mylot but it won't do any good anyways as mylot can't stop them, I'm sure. I know I sent a link about the same kind of site, about two years ago, to mylot but the site still worked for a long time after so I guess there was nothing they could do about it.

lol, I'm sorry but I had to laugh, that is plain out funny. Well obviously they must be stopped. But then again, it is partly mylot's fault for setting the stand so darn high, they should have made 300 the standard instead of 500.

That's not my job. That is for the administration to worry about. How would this affect my own earnings?

Cheaters cause losses for everyone. Some sites have even closed because cheaters were causing them to run at a loss

I generally report abuses if I see them, but I don't feel it's my responsibility to monitor others here. This is a question for administration to answer.

Thats not fair. We worked hard to get to our 500 so we could copy and paste interesting topics. They should have to work for it as well.
