I am usually one of those people that can remember everything. But this week I have forgotten so many things, it isn't funny. Yesterday there wasn't any school so I thought I would catch up and have my game face on today just to get to school and find I forgot the forms at home I spent an hour filling out last night. Also the kids were supposed to wear pink and black today. Forgot that too. Then there was a meeting that I forgot to go to, and I say my son without gloves or ski pants which I usually check before we leave the house, but I forgot again.
Is this a sign I am losing it? Or just a bad week? Do you have times like this? Are you always forgetful?

No you are not losing it or going crazy. When I find that I feel I am losing my mind I think of the words to an old tune, "Mama said there'd be days like this" and try to find the hunor in my own mistakes.
I once forgot to pick my sun up from school. In my mind, I had made arrangements with my mom to do only to forget that she had an appointment and could not run the errand for me. During the course of my day that very important fact completely slipped my mind. Poor kid waited a long time for me to get there to pick him up, but he was smiling when I got there. As he hopped into the car he said, "Mama you said there'd be days like this" and I just rolled with laughter at his outlook on my mistake.
