My hard drive is partitioned to use windows xp and vista but the vista side has crashed .The laptop came with vista home but I had problems running the software that I use to connect wirelessly to my internest ISP so I double booted.I find vista to be more stable than vista.Incidentally like you I am using a non genuine copy of windows and it is giving me a hard time ,it keep on telling me that I have to get this problem resolved everytime I boot and there is this big blue logo on the lower right corner of my screen announcing to the world that my copy is non genuine.
What is windows 7 never heard of that one

Sorry friend! I am also using window xp as well as window vista. I want to suggest for using window. For better internet performance you should use window Vista. I use both window vista and window xp operating system. When I work on internet then I use window vista. and for other work window xp aswell as window vista. You can use more than one operating system in one PC.

I'm using Windows 7 Beta. It's not much different from Windows Vista, only slightly faster considering that my processor is not so new. So far it's a breeze and problem free. However I'd not upgrade to Windows 7 after the beta expires, and keep to Windows Vista.

Hi there Love Summer. I am using XP service pack 2 on my desktop computer and Windows XP Media Center with Service pack 2 as well on my laptop, as it came as part of the Toshiba Agreement with Microsoft. I am satisfied with both and i won't install Windows Vista any time soon as it is to demanding in my opinion when it comes to requirements.

I switch between xp and ubuntu took. I have alao tried fedora and gentoo but I think I have not get accustomed with its. XP is much faster than vistaed, I have just tried windows beta on my desktop,I must admit it is wonderful though it has some bugs nowhere. I believe it would be successful when released formly next year.

This computer has XP, the other has 98. I never really liked windows me, 95 was alright for the time, and I have not gotten much of a chance to use vista. People that do not know much about computers tell me I should upgrade and such. I feel like I may, in a few years when it might be a lot better with patches, and programs I use get to that point where they actually function better using it. IT minded people I know complain of varied problems with it, though they also complain about glitches in software that to me seem minor.

windows 7?haven't heard of that.
i am using a Windows Vista, it came with the package when i bought my computer last month. there are times that it freezes, and sometimes it crashes then again it functions well. at first i was having second thoughts of the Vista when i ask my friend on what is the best Windows, he said i should just stick to the XP cause you can upgrade easy with that version. but i really like the new environment of Vista so i made my choice and Vista i prefer.

I have a desktop with XP and a laptop with Vista. The latter is the one I use all the time and I admit at first I hated Vista! It was unfamiliar and a lot of my software was not compatible with it. I thought about putting XP on my laptop as I still have the disc from when I bought the desktop but I am used to Vista now so I will stick it out. I am looking forward to Windows 7, it's got to better!
