Shaving your private parts.

My wife and I do not completely shave down there, but we both keep things neatly trimmed. I tried shaving down there a couple of times, and I ended up with razor burn or something. I have NEVER itched that bad in my life. I literally scratched myself raw. I tried putting lotions and stuff on the areas for a few days after I shaved, but NOTHING would stop that itching. I think the few days after each of the times I shaved were probably collectively the most miserable few days of my life. It was far worse than any case of poison ivy or athlete's foot I have ever had. I will NEVER shave there again...I will have to settle with just keeping things trimmed, and anyone I am with will have to accept that as well. My wife likes my chest hair, so I leave that alone, but I do keep my armpits trimmed short as well...

I have been shaving it all off for YRS now and love it like that....my bf does do cause he also enjoys it bare and of course like you said it saves from me getting hairballs when goin down LOL..

As i am in sports i have to shave hair of whole body so the private parts.The creams and all sort of material is provided to me by my coach

I shave private parts mainly because of the reason you mentioned. I have not shaved there till 25 years of my life. When I shaved there, I found so relaxed and happy and felt that it helps me to keep that place clean all the time. So, I continued doing so. I feel shaving there is important for hygene. I don't think how it works with trimming. Some people just trim that hair. Won't they get irritated whey the do blowing?

Im shaving... for two reasons, so I could perfectly show that it is clean when Im wearing my swim suits and so that there is no hindrances.... *LOL*

I do keep my hairs trimmed, but never shave, as it really gives me a itch(as nicely explained by someone earler),I did shaved twice till now, but after 2 days it was horrible(itch ).

Well, I get gnarly, so I shave the bikini area. It looks dreadful on a bathing suit.

I have been shaving my private parts down there since I had surgery on genitals, I do it because I like the bald feeling if I get stuck pleasuring myself, plus looks good bald.

Well I shave too since I feel more clean :)

hehehe..well, i shaved. not because of the reasons you mentioned. For me, it is keeping my body cleaned up. and to feel comfortable. i dunno to you.hehehe

I have trimmed before, but never scorched the earth. My girl has asked me to shave but for some reason I feel attached to my foliage.
