Why do people refer to GOD as a HE?

I have found that when people talk about GOD they always follow it up with He is this or that. Why is GOD referred to as a HE? Why not a SHE or an IT? What do you think GOD is exactly? Why do you think that?

oldmanhorrorfan To me, I live in a little country town, and our mall is not very popular. The matinees are $2.50, and the evenings shows are 4 bucks. The movies are basic, we don't get to see the 3-D versions, and the films are censored, thanks to management.

How long should a person sleep in a day or in a week?

I sleep for some 8 hours a day. During weekends I sleep for 10 hours a day. So in a week i sleep for 50 hours. How long should you sleep really? What is enough and what is too much?

oldmanhorrorfan You should sleep as long as you need to sleep. Meaning it doesn't run over and starts ruinning your social life. 7 hrs @ the most in my book, but that's just me.

oldmanhorrorfan Yep, like you said, the hellraiser should be awesome. And I feel the same about this film as I did about Candyman. Be I do think Hellraiser 2 was better then part 1, then after that the films just fell off.

oldmanhorrorfan Yeah, the original was pretty slick and could never be redone, like the sequals (to me atleast) never lived up to the first. No director could follow the first because it was so GOOD!!
