Yep, I get into creepy horror movies, and every now and then I'll catch something good on TV. The other day I caught a show. Yes, I know that a tv show is not a movie, but this show did give me the creeps. It's called Monsters Inside Me, it's about stories on cases where parasites got into human host. And as far as I know the stories are real.
It's just creepy because something so small could mess someone up so bad. Then again I guess viruses are even smaller. And how these people get these little buggers, not doing nothing really dangerous, just got some new little friends that decided to come along for the ride.
Have any of you mylotters caught this show, yet? And what do you think of it?

I have seen previews for Monsters Inside Me, but I can never seem to catch it when it's on. I want to watch it. I think it would be pretty educational.
I love shows and movies that give me the creeps. I love stuff like 1,000 Ways to Die, Deadliest Warrior, and pretty much any show that is centered on paranormal research. I also love movies with a lot of action and horror. Psychological thrillers are fantastic; I love watching them.

I'm not sure exactley when it comes on. If you go to their web site I'm sure it'll tell you. And yes, it is very educational, maybe too educational because it'll make you think twice the next time you go to do something. I mean how some of these people get infected gives me the creeps! The next time I go swimming, or go to get that next glass of water, or the next time I let my children go outside to play. I did learn some stuff from the show.
I've caught them other shows you mentioned, too. Like you, I don't know when they come on and have a hard time catchin'em. I'll DVR'em when I get the chance, thanks for responding.

Absolutely yes... I do watch all movie genre & watching horror movies is on top of my list...Just yesterday, I got a good DVD copy of The Hunting in Connecticut, wow, it is really creepy...It has the real creepiness of a horror movie w/ less blood, gore & violence. I can compare it to the like of "The Others", where, you don't have to see a lot of blood & violence w/in the movie to get horrified, but the terrifying scenes where it is always unpredictable & the eeriness of the cinematography makes it more creepier than a lot of slasher, blood, gore scenes found in almost horror flick nowadays. I'd like to recommend these 2 movies to creep you out... You'd jump out of your seat as the scenes progress to its climax...& You better has someone to watch this along.

Oh yeah, I heard about that like when the guy was using the wash room in the river and some fish got in side of his junk, and then ate out all of his organs. So gross, but still fascinating. I think part of me likes it and part of me doesn't but I have to admit I would probably watch it wanting to look away but not being able too.

Whoa!! I didn't see that one!! I heard of a fish that does that!! We, as humans, can eat any animal we want, but when a animal decides to dine on us, it becomes horror or fascinating. Anyhoo, I'll keep a eye out for that show.

I'm a big fan of horror films. I'm not sure if it was the same show you mentioned, if I remember right it was titled differently, but I have seen a show like that. I found it to be very interesting. In the one I watched a couple of people did die because of their new guests in their bodies, but mainly because they were unaware of their conditions and did not get medical attention. I knew you could get bugs and worms inside you, but with all the details they gave it was just amazing. It creeped me out big time. I also look at it as that now I'm better informed and can try to avoid getting some of these parasites.

Yeah, I have seen other shows on tv that are about the same theme, just freaky to me how something so small can mess somebody up.
Since I wrote this discussion I came across a stray kitten that had worms, took it in and got it treated, got rid of the worms. It is now a healthy young cat, but the worms did leave it blind in one eye, it mostley goes on his hearing, now.

I agree with you on not watchin' this show. Most horror movies are scripted and fake. This show is based off of fact which makes it way creepier to me.
