Greatest Band Ever

Who is this band to you? Personally I would go with Alkaline Trio, they hold a special sound to me that got me through some tough years. I would expect Clapton and Zepplin, but am interested to see who you choose.

The greatest band ever to me is probably Queen. The passion and emotion Freddie Mercury put in to his music together with the band was just amazing. Beatles is great, but not the *Greatest* at least not to me. Also Freddie Mercury was the best singer :D
But my favourite band would be Pain of Salvation. Almost in class with Queen ^^

One of my favorite songs is Under Pressure with David Bowie. It still gives me goosebumps.

My favorite band is Bright Eyes, lead by the boy genius Conor Oberst. I don't know too many people who like them - his voice is an acquired taste, but the songs and music really sing to me. They are full of pain and contempt, and every once in a while something happy or funny. Another cool thing about them is that every album is different. One album might be all electronic, while another tends to be more country-ish.

Thing Is I like different bands equally but for different reasons: for example I really like Beirut or Super Furry Animals 'cause I think their stuff is the only stuff I can listen to no mattr what mood I'm in. But when I'm in the mood to listen to Lepplin I could listen to the albums on repeat for days and not get bored. Also at the moment I'm really obsessed with more folksy twee stuff like noah and the whal or Laura Marling.

Beatles of course.They are the most popular band ever.They have so many songs that are even played today.This band is still popular right now even though the band disbanded already.Gotta love the songs that john lennon wrote.

Mine would have to be The Sound of Animals Fighting because they can change it up in so many different ways and still be awesome. Or Our Better Years because thats my band! haha.

i forgot modest mouse might actually tie alkaline trio for my #1. I haven't heard much of the sounds of animal fighting, but i have heard good things. what album would you recomend?
